"Best boat ride ever!!!!!"
June 2019
The captain and Mate were amazing. I observed his knowledge of the water and courtesy for other boaters. We were able to see numerous dolpins and a possible hammerhead shark. Overall this was an amazing experience and highly recommend.. even though someone hit our truck in the parking lot.

"Great customer service"
August 2018
My family and I went on the Sea Thunder at the end of July. Since the weather that week had not been great the captain wasn't able to find any dolphins after many attempts. We were disappointed but they gave every group on the boat a card and a text with a coupon code that will allow us to make a reservation for free for the same number of people. We can go back for free as many times as necessary until we see dolphins. I think this is great. Other than no dolphins the boat ride was fun and you get soaked.

"Sea Thunder not so much"
June 2018
While I planned to get to the location an hour ahead of time, plans change with 3 small kids, plus the rotating bridge delayed us getting across on time. So, we were there 30 minutes ahead of time; that meant that we were placed in the last group and we had to sit in the back where the seating is cramped and you cannot see ahead. We were booked for the Sea Thunder but they apparently had a mechanical or other issue and we had to ride on the Sea Screamer, neither of which ever really went very fast. My nephews were pretty bored with the whole thing (ages 6, 7 and 11). It was a pleasant enough ride out to the ocean but I would probably not do it again. The captain tried to find some dolphins for us but we only saw them above the water very briefly a few times. I was disappointed that the kids did not get a seat by the side of the boat or in front. We would have a much, much better time on my boat at the lake. Also, I dislike being asked for tips when I'm already spending a small fortune on my family vacation.

Tip: You should probably be there at least an hour and a half ahead of time, so you can maybe sit in front, or at least on the side nearest the water. It's a pretty slow ride so, if you are looking for something fast, this is not it. It's hard to get good photos with all of the people packed into the boat (around 150). They will ask for a tip at the end and tell you the mate only works for tips. Nice guys but I find that offensive.
