Description

from Sea Screamer- Myrtle Beach Dolphin Cruises
Come join us on the best dolphin tour in Myrtle Beach. The Sea Screamer is a 65 foot 1993 Navigator tour boat powered by turbocharged Detroit Diesels, totaling 1500 horsepower. The Sea Screamer holds approximately 141 passengers. Everyone is able to sit and when the Captain gives the okay you are able to walk around. There is a canopy over several rows of seats on both of our boats. The boat locations are only 3 miles apart.

Cruises are 1½ to 2 hours long. The tour encompasses 3 distinct experiences starting with a narrated cruise up the Intracoastal waterway. Then picking up speed and passing several uninhabited islands as well as the jetty heading out into the ocean. The second part of the tour is heading into the ocean to find and view the dolphins and the third part is picking up speed to view our beautiful coastline.

This is a wet ride so dress accordingly. There is a dry box on board for valuables. We do suggest a bag or case to keep cameras and phones dry so you may take pictures. Sun glasses and sunscreen are also recommended for this tour.

If you want SEATING UNDER THE CANOPY please arrive early because boarding is done by group #. Group #1 will board first and will include several parties who arrive the earliest. Check in is inside the Captain Juel’s Hurricane Restaurant and is 45 to 30 minutes before boat departs.

All passengers must check in and get a boarding pass before boarding. The boat departs promptly at scheduled times so please allow time to park, check-in, etc. PARKING is half way down Mineola Ave on the left hand side. Look for the Sea Screamer parking sign. Walk towards the waterfront to the Captain Jules Hurricane Restaurant and enter the Restaurant for check-in.

My Family loved the dolphin tour. The only thing is they require to be 45 mins early and it takes a while to load the boat. They need a better game plan on loading the boat.

We went out this time to use our voucher since we did not see dolphins the last time. They honored the voucher very easy. We left out at 10:00 a.m. on the boat had great seats and the first mate Molly was awesome. We did not see dolphins this time either, perhaps it is the summer heat in South Carolina. We did learn a lot about Little River and the North Myrtle Beach area from the captain. Can't wait to use the voucher again. Very honest company to use. Highly recommend.

My family and I enjoyed an afternoon on the water with the Sea Screamer. My seven year old was very excited about riding on the largest speed boat in the world. It was a nice afternoon to go through the inlet and out into the Atlantic Ocean. We pulled up behind a shrimp boat and were able to see more dolphins than I have ever seen in the ocean. They were all around the boat and the captain of the boat moved the boat around so that everyone on board could see them. I attached a picture of some of the dolphins even though they were hard to capture. It was a nice hot day on the water and the staff did a very nice job of taking care of all needs on the boat. Overall we had a great experience and would recommend to families for something different to do while on vacation.

We took our grand daughter for a ride on the screamer. Was expecting a wild ride due to the name but it was tame. I was expecting a fast speedboat so a little disappointed. Traveling along the intercoastal was quite interesting and relaxing. Went faster when we hit the open ocean. Captain was funny and full of information. We did see lots and lots of dolphins because they were interested in the shrimp boat. Glad my grand daughter was able to see dolphins. It was extremely hot so take water. Sit under the canopy. You meet at a restaurant so you could have a meal right there after the ride. Arrive early for the best seating.

We went on the 10 am dolphin cruise. We booked online which was simple but there were inadequate check-in instructions. You must go inside the adjacent restaurant to get your boarding pass. Not a big deal but they could easily improve the experience through better communication. Boarding the boat was efficient and orderly. The trip itself was great. The crew were friendly and informative. Most importantly, We saw a lot of dolphins and were able to get many good photos and videos.
