Zip lining over monstrous gators is awesome! Make sure you are wearing closed-toe shoes and those that won't slip off your feet. Don't forget to look down to see huge alligators.

"Grab a Gatorland's Screamin' Gator ZipLine!"
October 2018
Truly one of the best and most memorable moments in our lives! From my 68 year old zipline-experienced aunt, to my never before ziplining brother ; and same for my 10 year old son. As for me, who because of this amazing experience, is no longer afraid of heights or ziplining...when can we do this again?!?!

Tip: Definetly get to Gatorland 30 min. prior. Find a Gatorland employee, who will direct you to the zipline check-in. The zip line "tour guides" are excellent. They are experienced, professional, and put you at ease. They are also very conscientious about medical conditions. They asked my aunt, who has severe asthma, how she was doing, and watched her closely for any signs of having difficulty.

"Awesome views from the towers and lines"
July 2015
We were in Orlando for a family vacation, me and my 2 adult daughters, neither of them have ever zip lined before. I've had a few opportunities to "zip like" back in the 80s with Army training (remember the slide for life?) but it wasn't anything like the commercial places today. Gatorland is actually a gator reserve, has multiple ponds segregating the sizes of the gators. I found it to be very educational and promote awareness for habitat and wildlife preservation. The park is organized around the pools with aviaries and snack bars imbedded within. There are plenty of shaded walkways so you're not constantly in the sun. The zip line depot is inside the park, where they take you through a safety briefing and film. An experiences guide (college age men and women) help you assemble the gear then off we went to the towers with a few others. These towers were above the treeline and we could see nesting osprey and crows in the tops of the trees. Looking down was impressive! The zip lines were fun, some short some long and we traversed several towers before ending the adventure. The entire trip took about 3 hours- starting from buyin the tickets to editing the park. The zip line tickets give you entrance to the park and you can stay there all day if you want, but you must to show up at the depot on time otherwise you may have to forfeit your ride. Great experience and I highly recommend to novice an experiences zip liners. Safe for kids!!
