It was our first stay here. The 1 bedroom condo was so spacious and comfortable. I love the double full body shower. There was just 4 of us and the kids were happy on the fold out. Great value, beautiful accommodations, river view was spectacular. Thanks for a great stay!!!

"PERFECT!"
August 2016
Our stay at Riverstone Resort was PERFECT! Check in was fast and the staff very friendly. Our condo was beautifully decorated and most important CLEAN. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The patio overlooking the golf course was beautiful. We loved the lazy river and pool. I just wish we had not planned so many other activities during our stay so we could have enjoyed Riverstone Resort more. I can not wait to return to Riverstone Resort!

"A RiverStone Spa Day"

My son and his fiance' gave me a gift certificate to RiverStone Spa. I made the appt, and I was not disappointed. I scheduled my massage was with Mariah, who was amazing. In comparison to spa's I've visited in Knoxville and Asheville, this was by far the best massage. Also, Debi did a wonderful manicure! I am not accustomed to being pampered, and she made me feel comfortable and she described the green products she used on my nails, they look the best they have ever looked. My experience was far beyond what I expected. If your in the Pigeon Forge area, whether a tourist or living nearby as I do, a few hours at RiverStone is a must.

We had a nice two bedroom in building four. My family enjoyed playing in the river and we liked the location. The place was very quiet and easy to find. The lazy river pictured in the advertisements isn’t quite as it appears. It’s a really small outdoor pool. Our room cards became deactivated on three different times. The first time was right after check in. We battled the heat to get to our room only to find that none of our keys worked. We drove back to the office to behave them re keyed. This happened twice more with the second time being at 11 pm when all we wanted to do was get in our room and go to bed. Also the dishwasher in our unit didn’t work. My husband doesn’t mind doing dishes so that wasn’t a big deal but was an inconvenience. We didn’t want to mess with calling maintenance to have it fixed. All in all I’d recommend the hotel (it’s not a resort) but beware of your keys.

"Nice place, but the view is not as good as you would think"

The condos are very nice, and they are well sound-proofed, which is wonderful because there are lots of families with young kids. If you pay extra for the river view, be forewarned, the view isn't that good. While you can indeed see the Little Pigeon River, what you mostly see is the huge back parking lot of the Dixie Stampede. I didn't find that very scenic. The private balconies are nice, but don't think you are going to hear the rushing river out back. All you can hear is the loud hum of the air conditioner units located on this side of the building. You also can't see the fireworks from Dollywood on the river side of the building. The condos have everything you might need, however there is no cleaning or trash removal provided, so be prepared to do this yourself. I stayed for a week, and wasn't thrilled to have to take out my trash, make my bed, and exchange my own towels in another building. You pay a $40 cleaning fee for your stay, which covers them coming in at the end of your stay and cleaning things up. If you want fresh towels, you can take your used towels to the main office and exchange them. The condos are well appointed and beautiful. However, my hair dryer did not work. My alarm clock did not work. My microwave worked, but sounded like it was going to explode when I used it. The microwave door didn't fit properly, which seemed to be the problem. While there is a cooktop, there is no oven. When you get to your room, the first thing you want to do is turn on the ice maker, as they dump all the ice from the previous user, and turn it off. It takes a bit to get some ice made (the next day.) The indoor pool and lazy river are nice, and there is plenty of parking. Except for the early morning, it is next to impossible to make a left-hand turn out of the property to get to the main strip because of a blind curve, and the traffic from people trying to get to the strip or the Dixie Stampede. Traffic comes to a complete standstill right before the shows at Dixie Stampede, which happens 3 times a day. If you make a right-hand turn, you can take Teaser Road and still get to the main strip. I would go to this resort again, but I would not pay extra for the river view. It isn't that special.

"Great accommodations! "

Stayed for one week in a 3 bedroom/2 bath unit and it was terrific! Just off the Parkway and just far enough away from the hustle and bustle. We had a view of the river which was nice and even had the perfect view of the July 4th fireworks that were lit from Patriot Park! The unit was very clean and spacious. Everyone had more than enough room to spread out. Great location for heading into the Smoky Mountains to hike or visit Dollywood. The WiFi was nonexistent in our condo. We did call the front desk and they sent maintenance to investigate and the gentleman told us he would reset it and come back and check. We waited 2 hours and he never returned to our unit! Saw the same guy the next morning when he came to replace our broken toaster and we told him how we waited for his return the day before and he said his shift had ended and he told the next maintenance guy to fix the WiFi, but that guy never did. Annoying that we wasted two hours for someone to not even show up. I mentioned to the manager upon checking out and he was very apologetic and gave me a 10% discount on our stay. Therefore, I didn’t take any stars off of my review. If we visit the area again, we will be sure to stay at RiverStone again! By the way, the spa was amazing! Best facial and massage I have ever had thanks to Haley and Stacy!
