"This Was Not Fun!"

There is so much Ripley’s could have done with a Zombie Lazer tag! The zombies could have been more visible, the images were just gross, it was so dark you couldn’t see where to walk, shooting things didn’t even do anything, and there is no reason for the laser guns really. Maybe this place was just starting out? Maybe I just didn’t get it. My 2 boys are 9 & 10 and we thought it would be cool, but it was just a flop of weird, dark and scary.

Tip: If you like gory scary haunted dark houses, this is a thriller for you, but if you like laser tag, this is a no go.

Not worth the money. Hardly any targets to hit. We never encountered the giant zombie at the end. Very disappointed.

"Spooked the girls"

We went on purpose in the afternoon since we had two younger pre-teen girls. They were freaked out, cool effects and would love to do again at night.

My wife and I went here since it was pretty cheap to add on to the other Ripley's attractions. We were not impressed at all. There was not a wait, and we were grouped up with two other couples, so six people total. First off, this would be far scarier if people were allowed to go through solo. Since everyone mostly has to walk single file, any of the surprise events are wasted for people in the back of the group, since you can hear something is happening before you can see it. The props and effects looked really fake, and I think there was only one employee in costume, which moved between the different rooms as we went through. I think he just swapped masks quickly. Truthfully the only parts that even got a reaction from me were a couple of SUPER loud noises. I told my wife my eardrums were the only thing that got scared. This attraction might be scary for kids, but for our group of adults we all walked out saying "That was it??"

This attraction had 1 actress running in between floors. You can see her if you walk up the backside of the building walking up the stairs to each level. You get a laser rifle, and you think hmmm I bet there is going to be a ton of zombies. Nope. There is 1 on the first floor, followed by THE SAME PERSON with a chainsaw. Floor 2 they take away your guns, and you see the SAME PERSON once again. Waste of your time. The scariest part was waiting in line in the heat for 45 minutes.

Went with wife and 12 year old daughter. They both tapped out before it even begun - just the thought of getting in the lift that starts the thing freaked them out too much. Thanks guys! Left me to go through myself apart from three young kids (I'm 50!). Highly embarrassing - as it begun I fell to the back of the group and as such was being hectored from beginning to end by a never ending assortment of chainsaw slinging psychopaths, murderous nurses, demoniacal clowns (with red balloons) and other such visitors of the heart stopping variety. Don't mind admitting that I quickly found myself clinging to the poor kid in front of me as we scurried along like freshly scalded cats while disjointedly shooting at anything that moved but mostly things that didn't. The attendant assigned to 'look after us' was a real joy to be around. Not. He abandoned us after about 4 seconds and left us to fend for ourselves as room after room and wave after wave of terror got into our senses. I recall that afterwards it seemed to be over very quickly, but while you are in there time itself seems to slow down - its hard to remind oneself with the required level of assurance that its just an 'attraction' or a 'game' while you are being chased by a possessed brain surgeon brandishing a large scalpel through an operating theatre; but thats what you paid for right? Overall, I could have managed just fine without doing this, but I'm glad I did. If scares are your thing then I think you will love it.

We had a fun time. My son is 8 and wanted to try it. He bravely went in but decided he needed to come out. What was nice is because we came out we got to go to the mirror maze for free.
