"So simple!"

Having tickets ahead of time was so much easier (and less expensive)! It was exciting, fun, and well worth it. I will use Reserve Direct again!

"Oddities galore"

This was my families first time to the odditorium, although I visited a few times 30+ years ago. It's been around a looong time! There are so many cool things to see. There's quite a bit of reading to do to get the whole experience, and that might not be too easy for kids say younger than 10. It's good that you go at your own pace so you can spend half an hour if you want or 3 hours if you want. It's definitely a cool thing to do while in Myrtle.

Tip: You can take pictures. Good for older kids 10 and up if you want them to read.

Luckily we were able to get discounted tickets from the Reserve Myrtle Beach site. It saved us $40. But, overall there's nothing new here at Ripley's. It's the same as the other Ripleys. We spent $55 for a family of 5 and were out of there in 40 minutes.

Not my favorite thing to do. Grandkids wanted to go so we went but it was not worth the extra $6 for doing an extra event with the Aquarium. Is what it is I guess.

I was a big fan of the "Believe it or Not" comic strip back when I was a little kid. So I had a soft spot for this tourist attraction. The place stayed with BIoN's reputation by playing more like a carnival sideshow than a museum. The places puzzles and brainteasers were the most fun moments. Also, since this is BIoN, it had a large display of creepy looking "native" costumes, and shrunken heads. Now here the place felt out of touch with modern sensibilities; I wondered if these artifacts could ever be displayed in the correct cultural contexts. But the rest of the museum was fun. I enjoyed its maze format where you had to keep going up and up (though I don't know if they provide elevators to make the displays handicap accessible.).

Went here because we got discounted tickets after visiting the aquarium. It was a good escape from the heat but not stroller friendly at all! Very small lift that you need to call an attendant to use. Went with a 1 year old and 10 year old. Went through the whole place in about 45 minutes, not worth it. Located in the heart of myrtle beach boardwalk.
