Tip: You will need a car because even though there was local transportation near the hotel, the bus service is slow especially on the weekends

"Great Location, Clean Rooms, and Friendly Staff"
October 2018
Nice clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, big screen tv's, and literally minutes away from the major destinations, gas stations, and even a Walmart in case you need travel supplies. Even has a kiddie pool and small play ground for them as well. We felt safe and comfortable during our stay, which is very important for my family. Will definitely use this hotel again for our next vacation.

"A grand surprise"
March 2018
When we first checked in, we didnt understand why there were so few cars out front (we were then concerned for the quality of the room). It was to our surprise that this place was so big! We were in building #12, along our walk we passed not one, but two pools (shaped like mickey mouse's ears). There was also a heated toddler pool and volleyball. The rooms were standard and clean. The breakfast was extra but not by much. The cooks were very friendly the entire visit. The man who checked us in was very helpful as well. We noticed how they all worked together to clean tables, like they enjoyed their job. One guest gave us a toy scooter for our 1yr old son (they said they had no room to take it back home) and the morning breakfast clerk went out of his way to grab a spray bottle and towel to wipe it down clean for our son to enjoy. Very friendly place! They have a gift shop and fine art inside

"Good hotel for price"
March 2018
Clean, friendly staff, big hotel with 3 pools, good amount space in room.
All I would recommend is maybe milder cleaning detergents because they were very strong smelling. And I don't think you can do much about the light by the sink...that was annoying at night. I wish there was an option to turn it off.

"Summer trip 2016"
July 2016
The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. We were going into Universal for a few days and needed a close hotel. The hotel does provide a shuttle, but only once in the morning and once in the evening. Both times are after the park opens and before it closes. There was a $15 per person fee going to Universal but free going to the Magic Kingdom. We used Uber both days so that we could come and go as we pleased.

"Avoid!!! Should be called Cockroach Motel"

Arrived on Tuesday. Beds were spotless as was the bathroom. Brand new shower enclosures. Noticed the door (which was to the outside, which I always thought meant motel) need to be shut a little hard to latch. Came back Wednesday evening to just have to push the door open, housekeeping obviously did not pull it shut. Maintenance man came next morning, kept slamming the door shut and insisted it was fixed but said he would come back and check to make sure it was latched after housekeeping. Needless to say, that night we came back again to an open door. Next morning, changed rooms after another conversation with same maintenance guy who did nothing again. Next room had a little mold on shower ceiling, asked front desk to have housekeeping take care of it. Nothing. Next morning, 6 am my husband awoke to something crawling on his forehead. Yes, it was a cockroach. I have pics but cannot figure out how to post them. Left within the hour to another hotel.

"Fine apart from our belongings being stolen...."

When we arrived at the hotel it was just fine. Pretty average for the price and area. The room was clean enough, air con working (although loud!), and pool area was nice. Very close to Walmart and also had a little shop and bar in the hotel which was handy when you just wanted a drink or snack. We booked this hotel as a package with virgin for 14 nights but only stayed there 2 nights and then went off to other hotels around Florida. We did alert the front desk to the fact that we would be returning for our last night so we did not need the room cleaning, but we had not left completely. They acknowledged this. On returning, we found that our hotel had been cleaned for check out. We had left things we had bought at Universal Studio worth quite a bit of money and these had been taken from the room. I went to ask at the front desk and nobody could give me an answer. The items weren't in lost property where they should have been, so obviously one of the cleaners had helped themselves to these items. Instead of spending my last night enjoying my time in Orlando, I spent around 3 hours speaking to/waiting to speak to different people who kept hiding in the office so as not to have to speak to me. It's a real shame as I just asked that I was given the money back for the items (around $60), and it could have been solved so easily but it was dealt with in an appalling manner. Would not recommend at all - stay away!

Very disappointed. The room itself was great. The bed was very comfortable. What was disappointing was there were no amenities as advertised. They have new ownership and so the restaurant, lounge and gift shop were all closed. I called to confirm the night before and was never informed of this. We cancelled our second night.

This is a rather dated hotel but my room was immaculately cleaned. I was very impressed! It smelled fresh and the bedding and towels were white as snow. It is very close to Disney and the price was fantastic. Very helpful staff and I got a great night sleep!

"A hotel just to sleep. A bit old but it's just fair and necessary"

The hotel at first glance looks like a roadside motel like the ones in the movies. The lobby looks old-fashioned and smells like damp. With respect to room 301 that touched us, it was in very good condition, neat, clean, with comfortable beds and everything working perfectly. They did the cleaning every day during our stay, which is appreciated
