"Good value"

Lots of reptiles and primates. Well kept, but minimal staff. The set-up allows up-close viewing and intrraction with the animals. Great place for kids.

"Entertaining"

We didn’t spend much time here, I had my twin 7 year olds, and they lost interest several times and had to be redirected. However- my kids have always been that way at zoos. They loved the petting area. My mom and I really enjoyed the zoo. The animals were different than what you would see at a large zoo, and it was nice to not have excessive walking. I would recommend this if you’re in the area and looking for a filler, for a good price!

Good experience especially with young children. Gift shop is not as expensive as others, actually quite reasonable.

It had been many years since we were last here. We are a family of four and we were looking for an indoor activity because of rain. I was looking on Groupon and seen that I could get a package of four tickets and two packs of food for the goats for $27. That was a great deal! U called to ask if they would honor the groupon as I had seen someone say that they would not in the reviews. Not only do they honor the groupon but you could just come in and they would automatically give you the groupon price if you just showed them the groupon price on your phone. So that was convenient and saved me time. They have so many animals to look at. We loved the monkeys and lemurs. Also a man brought out a snake and the kids got to hold it. Also, my favorite part by far, was getting to feed the turtles! The man gave us lettuce leaves to hold out and the turtles ate them. We fed the goats also. We had so much fun and made memories with our teenagers that will last a lifetime.

We visited here on a rainy day in Tennessee and left very impressed. The exhibits are really well done and the animals are some of the most interactive I have ever experienced. The monkeys were playful and interacted with all three of us. Our daughter loved feeding the goats and sheep, but a quick tip: don’t buy feed near the sheep as one of them has learned the system and steals all of your food, I’ll attach the proof in a photo. The gift shop is pretty large and has a good selection. All in all this was a great place and one of the highlights of our trip thus far.

Everything was nice. They had different reptiles and birds mainly species in the rainforest area. They do shows for large groups and they had the souvenier shop. They also have an area where you can feed the goats in which my adult child, teen and kids loved. I recommend it for some peaceful family fun!!

Small place but a fun way to spend some time. Was great as the weather outdoors was extremely wet and stormy. I have been a parrot owner for over 25 years and really enjoyed the center play gym the large parrots are provided. One cockatoo in particular seemed very anxious to interact with my daughter and impress with a great vocabulary. The cockatoo then went and cuddled with the large cava type rodents. It was precious. My guess is that bird had been a pet or still is and it was very happy.

"Mostly Indoor Zoo"

Rainforest Adventures is a nice, clean, indoor zoo with mostly tropical rainforest animals. Our favorite part was the outdoor goats and sheep because a tiny baby goat (3 month old triplet runt) kept getting out of the enclosure and eating out of my daughter’s hand while she held it. She was in absolute heaven (she is obsessed with goats) until a worker told her she had to set it down. LOL
