"Will definitely be back"
August 2018
Although on the older side, but definitely a good place to be when in Gatlinburg, big rooms and the kitchen is a plus, you can stay there for weeks and don't have to worry about spending much on food as you have the option to cook it in your unit.

Definitely a good place to stay.

"Good, but......."
October 2017
We were very happy with the location of the condo and there was plenty of parking available. This was our first time renting a condo and we were very happy with our decision. We especially loved having cable service, 2 large updated TVs, and internet service. We were very thankful for the washer and dryer in the unit and the comfortable linens.
I think this unit has great potential, but there were some items that my family and I felt needed attention. First of all, the pictures on the website of unit 110 are not correct. I specifically wanted a couch and loveseat that were leather so I wouldn't have to worry about my boys accidentally spilling something on the couch. The couch and loveseat in this unit are NOT leather as the pictures on the website show. The couch and loveseat are very uncomfortable and if you sit in them you will feel springs in you back. My son also noticed that there were nails poking through on the side of the loveseat. The screened patio door from the living room kept falling off the tracks and we had to put it back in place multiple times. There was also no lock on the sliding glass door to the patio from the living room. We felt like the beds were worn out and in need of replacement. The faucet on the bathroom tub was leaking from the cold water handle.
We also noticed some housekeeping issues. There was something dark spilled onto the white vertical blinds in the master bedroom. The kitchen cabinets were visibly dirty and had crusted food on them in some areas. One of the "clean" mugs in the cabinet had lipstick on it.
I believe all of these negative items can be fixed and this unit can be great.

"Perfect family lodging in Gatlinburg"
July 2016
Great location! Easy to walk everywhere, even onto one of the park trails. We loved the scenic view of the stream from the balcony. Our unit was much nicer than the pictures on the web site. Perfect for a family of 5.

Tip: It was scorchingly hot in June. Wish we had gone earlier in the spring, but it was cooler on some of the hiking trails. We loved hillbilly golf.

We loved the whole thing. Great family living dining area..could play games, watch TV talk together. Loved the balcony and the stream. Kitchen was fine as was the laundry room. Towels and lines should really be replaced. Thinnest towels ever. Great location.

"It’s dated.... needs refurbishing "

We were in 406. We’ve stayed here 3 times all in different units. This unit desperately needs rehabilitation so if you can avoid it - do it. Bunks are not usable. Very loose and unsafe. My pet peeve: shower heads that need replaced and cost less than $20.00 ... it’s such an easy fix... but not done in this unit... water trickled out.... bathroom fan not working. king suite bed needs replaced - it’s an awful nights sleep after a long hike.... master shower is so tiny in this unit you can barely fit .... master bathtub was awesome but leaked water and water heater was too small to accommodate filling it .... also no way to wash hair in bathtub .... this is not so in other units. Drawers in nightstand were all messed up when we got here - I fixed them. Kitchen cabinets below sink almost are falling off hinges. Carpet everywhere in this unit... dishwasher from 1981 (so are cabinets) and dryer does not dry clothing - broken. Pool was clean. Hot tub was clean. View is incredible. Front desk check in was not bad. I didn’t mess with maintenance on any of these issues because we are not in the room during the day and no safe in these condos. There have been some odd 2-3:00 am altercations this trip occurring the the parking lot between guests that caused car alarms to go off and you could clearly hear the detailed issues on the 4th floor.... but I think it’s the same group of guests each night so they’ll hopefully be gone soon. We’ve not had any issues on other trips here with unruly guests. This location is perfect. It gets 4 stars instead of less because I’ve stayed in other units that were awesome.... I just picked a bad one this trip. I’d stay here again but never this unit... I need a weeks sleep to make up for that king bed and itty bitty shower(see photo).

"Fantastic Location!"

We stayed in unit 306. While it was a bit dated but I can’t say enough about the location! It is one of the last places on the River before getting to the park and when you add the trees into the mix it feels so secluded. It’s like having a cabin in the woods with the convenience of being able to walk to restaurants! The unit was clean and the people in the office were very helpful when we had questions. The only con we saw was that the power went out a couple of times and it would have been better if they had a tankless hot water heater. But I would easily overlook all of that and stay there again. It is well priced too! It is my new favorite place to stay in Gatlinburg.

"Anniversary Stay"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5

My husband and I stayed at Park Place Condominiums for two nights for our anniversary. It was our first time staying here. As an earlier reviewer mentioned, it looked as though there was some construction going on, but we never saw anyone actually working so there were no disturbances. We were a little concerned at first as the stairs, which are outside, leading up to our condo did not look as though they had been swept in quite a while. These condos are older and are privately owned. The unit we stayed in did not appear to have been updated, but the unit itself was clean and the kitchen was equipped. There were two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The balcony of all rooms overlook the stream with is very peaceful. There is a balcony door in both the living room and the master bedroom. We turned our air off and opened the balcony door to listen to the stream which was very peaceful. My husband went trout fishing which he thoroughly enjoyed. The complex is up a side street just a couple of blocks from the main strip. Overall it was a good and peaceful stay. We will stay here again.

We stayed in 402 the condo had everything we needed great view. Easy walk to parkway and quick ride to Sugarland Visitors Center. You could walk there too. BUT Exterior had issues the pool was fine but the hot tub was in need of repairs. And they were working on the walkways/entrance because they were in bad shape. So a lot of construction we were afraid we would get nails in our tires.
