"Nice grounds and location"

The resort is quite attractive. I like the plantation style of the rooms. I don’t want to be negative because I really enjoyed our stay. However, it’s not a resort that I would recommend to an elderly couple or anyone with a physical disability. There’s a lot of walking to get around the resort and a lot of steps to get to the apartments. There are probably better rooms for people with disabilities and normally it wouldn’t be a problem for me but I sustained an unexpected injury on the day of our arrival which highlighted the difficulties to me. Drawbacks: no air conditioning. It’s very humid here and for me aircon is essential; We were close to a busy road so a lot of traffic noise; also a lot of noise from the restaurants across the road (loud thumping music). However, this was in the evening on the weekend and didn’t go too late.; the pool is not actually in the resort and with small children it was quite a hike: also, just a suggestion-it would be more convenient for guests if beach towels were in the rooms so that they didn’t have to go to the beach hut to get them and to return them. I’ve seen this done in other resorts I’ve stayed in quite successfully.

"Loved our stay and the location!"

Stayed 10/11/19-10/19/19 after adding on an additional day upon arrival with no issue. Beautiful grounds, friendly staff. Previous comments I read was that the property was outdated, but we were completely comfortable and felt the furnishings provided a beachy feel, so we did not mind the décor. Though we had sufficient ventilation, the property is NOT air conditioned, but our unit had a couple small fans that we utilized. Having a full kitchen and dining space was so much better than staying in a hotel. There was a charge for any housekeeping services, so we opted to not have service as it was not needed for just the two of us. We took out our own trash to the trash area conveniently located near our building. We did not visit the fitness center/pool across the street as it was just not convenient for us. However the beach was easily accessible and beautiful. We had family staying at the property next door which was very convenient to walk to from this property. We were in bldg 8, unit 43. We would recommend this property and book again.

We were at the back of the property looking our to the ocean from the 3rd floor and had the most marvelous view. The room was decorated so comfortable and provided everything we could need. Quite close to town and great shopping plazas.

Bad management at the hotel. There is no hospitality and bad customer service. Manager would not return phone calls or emails regarding customer concern. I would stay away from this property at all cost!

Gorgeous, very large resort located right by the beach. We're in a Garden view condo. They have ocean view...a bit more pricey. Totally supplied with everything we need. Great king sized bed, nice modern bathroom. Kitchen ok....a bit old and used. But well stocked. Free access to the Poipu Beach athletic club. Gym, tennis and happily for us...3 dedicated Pickleball courts. Large shallow pool. Not conducive for lap swimming, but refreshing. Lots of kids...no comment! Hot tub Great restaurant on site with service around the pool. Have the pork sliders.....delish!
