Description

from Outbreak
Outbreak: Dread the Undead. Can you save the world from a dangerous viral outbreak without being exposed yourself?! Chemacorp might have meant well with Alpha Strain, but the gene-altering substance turns humans into zombies. Their experiment-gone-awry has turned test subjects into throngs of the undead—and their testing facility into ground zero for a zombie apocalypse! You'll shriek your way through the ransacked biotech lab, morgue, and rotting basement. The challenge? Rid the world of Alpha Strain, or, at least, make it out alive (and screaming)!

"Adrenaline Rush!"
August 2016
My family (husband and three teen/adults) all thoroughly enjoyed this attraction! It was better than I expected and definitely an adrenaline rush! It took several minutes after we got done for my heart rate to get back to normal. Not recommended for small children!

We only went to the one outbreak haunt. There was nothing special about this. Most of the way, it was way too light. They had some nice animatronics as zombies, but that got old real quick. Nothing really stood out here. The air cannons were the only things that jumped. We saw 2 live zombies at the very end and they had no makeup on and did not scare very well at all. We will not be back. Please change it into something scary.

"Great detail and props "

We purchased the vip all access for the wax museum and this was included. I really wasn’t expecting much, but the detail they put into this was very impressive! I’m a horror fan so we go to many haunts during Halloween. The story line and animatronics inside was very impressive! The props and rooms flowed great! I really wish there were more than 1 live actor when we went, but he did his best and got me the first few yells! I would’ve gave 5 stars if he did more than just scream at us the whole time and maybe had a bigger role: dialogue: script They could really use at least 3 or 4 live actors and this place would be super! But it was fun and the rooms were great!

"Surprisingly great"

I got the All Access Pass for the Wax Museum, so I was going to this whether I wanted to or not. I was so surprised. This is the only one of the 3 add on attractions that would actually be worth the money if purchased separately on its own. I love haunted houses and similar spooky stuff and I thought this was really scary. It was mostly animatronics and screens (there were 2 live actors inside), but it was still very effective. The design was great. I wish my group hadn't been moving so quickly so I could've appreciated all of the details. LOVED the room with the arms. I also thought this was a fairly long experience for this kind of attraction. I think they should tear out the 5D ride and the mirror maze and build two more of these. I'd totally come back.
