Overview

Opium is a mashup of Las Vegas cliches, raunchy humor, and science fiction. The premise of the show is that you are traveling to Uranus and this is your in-flight entertainment. You will see acrobatic routines, hilarious sketches, and get a chance to take part in playful audience interactions. A “space diva” songstress glues it all together seamlessly. Sit back and enjoy the ride as the galaxy’s most talented performers amuse you.

Description

from Opium
Journey on a trip to a new dimension of entertainment with OPIUM, the new adults-only show at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas from Spiegelworld, the creators of ABSINTHE. On a wild ride aboard the OPM 73 from Las Vegas to Uranus, the spaceship’s twisted crew are at your service with in-flight entertainment provided by the galaxy’s most talented variety performers and other space oddities.

Featuring an alien chanteuse and a house band cranking out Planet Earth’s greatest hits, OPIUM is a fast, funny, and funky love letter to every B-grade science fiction movie ever made.

As some guy on Facebook said: "It’s like Rocky Horror Picture Show met Buck Rogers and exploded in Captain Kirk’s pants!"

Duration: 90 minutes
Age Requirement: Guests must be 18 years of age or older
Strobe light effects and theatrical smoke used during the performance.

I could not wait for the show to end. Compared to Absynthe, this show was worthless. Almost as bad as Chris Angel ,magic show. Total waste of time & money!

The worst show in Las Vegas by a long shot. Very little talent. A guy that is a contortionist was ok and the 2 guys that can juggle were good. Other then that....nothing! Not funny and the band next door is so loud that it interferes with the show. I wish I would of never gone to see it. And beware they throw saliva in the Audience.

If you see Absinthe and then Opium, you will probably leave a little disappointed. Don’t get me wrong there are funny acts but it’s almost like they are trying too hard. The ring act was the best!
