Friendly and helpful staff and located in the middle of it all. Walkable to any of Waikiki's destinations. Pam at the front desk was especially pleasant with a friendly smile. For the price I was very satisfied and taken care of during my stay. Would return.

I stayed here with my partner and family before they left and I did some solo travel (my next accommodation was a nightmare and Iwould have come straight back to the Ohana Malia but you were booked out). The hotel was lovely - staff were always so friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious and clean. I do wish that the rooms had a microwave rather than having to go use a communal one on another level but it’s not a huge deal. It was super handy to have free access to the bus around Waikiki that stopped right out front. We really loved the local bar next door, Rivals Sports Lounge - it became our local. Definitely recommend this hotel.

"Great hotel with the best location"

I stayed here for 6 nights and would definitely stay again. I wasn't satisfied with my first room for a several reason, I think it was located in the old part of the building. But luckily I was able to change the room and the new room was great. It was a newer, spacious room and a huge bed with a great pillow selection. The room was very clean, Wi-Fi worked well in the room. The service in the reception was great, especially Pam was amazing. Location of the hotel is just the best. It's in the center of Waikiki so all of the shopping centers and restaurant are right outside and there is just a few minutes walk to the beach. Bus stops are right next to the hotel so it's easy to explore Oahu and see other places/beaches/towns as well. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus to Ala Moana Center and there's also two great and calm beaches near by, if the Waikiki beach feels too crowded.

"it is a nice hotel but has a lot of issues"

our room was clean and nice. the elevator service to the parking garage was a joke. Played elevator tag with 2 other elevators before you could get the right elevator to open. It was also inconvient for ice or use of a microwave as they are located only on the 9th floor. also the refrigerator is on a timer so your items didn't stay cold most of the time. I definitely wouldn't stay there again. You would expect more from a hotel that was $200. plus per night.

"daily resort charge"

What a rip off, we had to pay us$25.30 per day for the use of a small pool aprox 5m x 2m & the use of a small towel. Totally inadequate sized towel. They had the hide to charge us$20.00 if this was not returned. When you are paying us$200.00 per night this is over the top. Our room was clostrophobically small with inadequate lighting. Americans do not know how to make a decent cup of tea. The secret is to use boiling hot water. This hotel & US hotels in general, need to learn that they need to provide an electric jug to enable travellers to produce a decent cup of tea. This has now got me started, why when paying over us$200.00 night, why isn't fresh milk as opposed to powdered milk. We are both seniors & getting into the combination bath shower is now a challenge & potentially dangerous. Ray & Judy Pedley
