We really enjoyed our tour with VIP Ontario Tours. The boat trip under Niagara Falls was spectacular, and we loved walking around Niagara-On-The-Lake - it’s such a quaint little town! Our tour was made even better thanks to the tour guide Kevin- he was so friendly, helpful and was so obliging to take photos for us at every stop. He’s a great photographer! The bus driver Lisa was also super friendly! We were really impressed with how well the tour was organized, and also with the bus itself - it was big, comfortable, and had charging ports and a bottle of water on every seat. Halfway through the tour, we were offered a box of Canadian souvenirs and our kids could choose whatever they wanted. This was such a nice touch! Overall, we would highly recommend this tour! So much is packed into one day but everything went so smoothly that it was relaxing and enjoyable. Thanks for a great day out!

This review is based on our first hour. Things may improve but I’m not hopeful. Confirmation the day before was fine. We were told to be at the Sheraton at the Falls by 1030. We left our hotel in plenty of time and found parking at a hotel lot $20/day. We walked down the hill to the bus and made it by 10. We hadn’t had breakfast because Starbucks is right there and we wanted a treat. We were told to hurry because they were waiting on us. Huh? We were next to be served and the guide came in and told us we didn’t have time. We had to go RIGHT NOW!! Fine. We returned to the bus and found seats at the back. We all received a spiel - return to the bus at 12:30. And then, at 1025 we LEFT THE BUS which hadn’t moved and walked the LONG WAY down a block. Then waited 10 minutes while the guide got our tickets for the Hornblower. So, we could have easily received a something from Starbucks while these shenanigans went on. We were then handed our tickets, hearded down the street, into the elevators, down the loading ramp, and onto the boat. This can’t possibly be these people’s first rodeo but hustling us along for no reason and then having us wait sure seemed like it. How about, instead of running around looking for us, one stays with the bus expecting us, and the other guy pops down to the ticket booth, radioing his partner when the tickets are in hand to send us down to meet him? Being told 1030 to meet the bus means I’ll be there at 1025. Expecting me at 10 because you’re told 1015 is a failure of communication between staff. The company has my phone number if I was to be there earlier. Tl:dr: get there at 10 because the bus might be early as opposed to late. Call to confirm even on a holiday. Eat before you go. Wear sandals because your feet will get wet.

So I had Vip do the whole package. Pick up at airport/drop off and Niagara Falls private tour. This company is hands down great. Tim our personal driver to Niagara Falls was awesome. We was chopping it up and him telling us everything alone the way. Our 2yr old son was having fun in the suv. If I ever go back to Toronto again I would totally use Vip service again.
