I took this same tour with my son last spring and it was amazing. Our tour guide was excellent and I learned so much from his narrative, explaining the history, architecture, and showing us nooks and crannies of the city that when we returned to New Orleans for a wedding for the weekend, I wanted to repeat the tour with the rest of my family. What a disappointment. Lauren was our tour guide and she told us 1/4 of what our previous guide told us. She mentioned a name and told a story and off we went on our Segways while our previous guide interwove the facts, architecture, and history together from place to place to show relevancy and an interesting timeline of the city's evolvement. For example, on our tour today, the fire discussions were pointing at the location and a 30 second story of how it started; no talk of the aftermath. No talk of the plague today. No discussion on Creole vs Cajun, etc. She pointed out the side of the St Augustine Church but didn't take us to the front nor discussed the anchor outside (we asked her about it and she didn't know anything about it). No discussion on the shot gun houses, color of the houses, nor the famous house(s) built up off the ground. We tooled around but this wasn't much of a city tour, more of a Segway ride. I'm thankful I had taken the previous tour and learned so much first because had I taken this tour first, I would have tried a different method to learn my New Orleans history.

Great way to tour new Orleans. Our tour guide Rod was great. He patiently trained us (myself and my wife) as it was our first time on Segway and took us around town with stops around town.

Segway Tour of NOLA was awesome. City Segway Tours was awesome (easy registration process and friendly staff). Our guide Rod was knowledgeable, super friendly, very accommodating and was "in tune" with his guests. He checked in with us on what we wanted to experienced and he delivered! He took us all over New Orleans, was very safety conscious and provided great information, infused with humor. Rod, you are a great tour guide! Thank you for making this trip and experience memorable.
