Our stay was awesome. The price was great, and staff friendly and helpful. Would've loved to seen a gator in the pond . But it is the best we've stayed in so far.

"Overall a very nice stay!!"
April 2019
We booked the 2 bedroom condo and overall it was a very nice stay! Everyone seemed nice also. The only complaint we had was one diamond tile was sticking up more than the rest of the floor and our 6 yr old tripped over it and the air was programmed or something bc it wouldn’t get below 74. Other than those 2 things it was nice!

This resort was very good to stay at. The only drawback was that there was no shuttle to take us to and from the resort.

"Had a fantastic time!"
August 2018
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at mystic dunes resort. We had plenty of room for everyone to be out of each others hair and relax. There is so much to do! It's a great value for the money. You get plenty of bang for your buck! The staff was very helpful and friendly as well. We will definitely plan another stay in the future.

"Honest Experience"
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5

Beautiful resort! We traveled here to “escape” quarantine for a bit and get our mind off of COVID. We also did a timeshare tour but I don’t want that experience to take away from this review. The room that was booked for us was not what we received but that was the timeshare department’s issue. The room is very spacious. Definitely one of the largest we have stayed in on family vacations. We were on the top floor so high ceilings was a bonus. The room is a beach house vibe with tiled floors and peacock decor, screened in balcony. The decor felt outdated and I was already going to clean because of COVID but I’m wondering if the unit was even cleaned by their housekeeping staff. There were blue stains on the dining room chairs, couch and randomly everywhere. There was also what appeared to be vomit on the pillow. The couch was stained so badly that we took the spare sheets and blankets and covered the couches so we can sit in the living room. I wanted to mop the floors since they looked like they have not been mopped but one was not provided. I just told the kids to stay off the floor and wear shoes. The tv was also not working but we called maintenance. That was the last time we were able to get a hold of ANYONE. We have called the front desk several times and no one ever responded. Tried to call room service and no response. We ran out of toilet paper and had to use Kleenex and some toilet tissue wipes we brought home. The resort offers many amenities but we were out and about Orlando so we didn’t get to experience them. I would say this is a great resort to stay at if you do not plan to stay and relax. We will not be back but it’s not a horrible resort. You can get the same price at a different resort and have better accommodations and customer service. Trust me, this was not because of COVID that the service was horrible.

"Overcrowded dungeon rooms"
TripAdvisor user rating 1 out of 5
Reviewed June 22, 2020
I don’t understand the good reviews? The rooms have one window where people walk by into the parking lot. The living room is is a dungeon with no windows. It’s over crowded and loud do not stay here. Oh yeah don’t forget the resort fee that will be charged…

"Not what I expected"
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5
Reviewed June 19, 2020
This resort is clean and the grounds are well kept. I used a “free” resort certificate to stay here but still had to pay resort fees and a reservation fee which wound up being just as expensive as if I had booked thru a third party website. I only stayed 4 out of the 7 days but still was charged. The resort wasn’t very busy as can be expected during covid 19. I requested a room for my husband and my anniversary getaway to be near a pool or pool view or something. I got a room away from everything, off the beaten path. I feel like we were the only ones in the whole building. The “main pool” area was closed the entire time. Only small pools were open. The convenience store and tiki bars were also closed. I must say, I’ve stayed at diamond resorts in the past, and this was disappointing. I’m rating 3 stars only because it was very clean and nice grounds. We were bored the whole time. The room we stayed in had cracks in the furnishings. The living area seemed “empty” like it needed some end tables or something. I’m not usually a picky person but the internet stunk and the pools areas that were open were no fun. Not much going on, not much to do. It was close to stores so that was a plus. I wouldn’t stay here again. I expected much more.
