Our stay was awesome. The price was great, and staff friendly and helpful. Would've loved to seen a gator in the pond . But it is the best we've stayed in so far.

"Overall a very nice stay!!"
April 2019
We booked the 2 bedroom condo and overall it was a very nice stay! Everyone seemed nice also. The only complaint we had was one diamond tile was sticking up more than the rest of the floor and our 6 yr old tripped over it and the air was programmed or something bc it wouldn’t get below 74. Other than those 2 things it was nice!

This resort was very good to stay at. The only drawback was that there was no shuttle to take us to and from the resort.

"Had a fantastic time!"
August 2018
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at mystic dunes resort. We had plenty of room for everyone to be out of each others hair and relax. There is so much to do! It's a great value for the money. You get plenty of bang for your buck! The staff was very helpful and friendly as well. We will definitely plan another stay in the future.

"Great Resort for us, but beware the Time Share plug!!"

I’ll start off my saying this resort was great in a sense that it worked for exactly what we wanted: large enough for our family and close to the parks. It met its expectations on that end no problem. Nothing else more to say other than we give that part a 10/10. Clean, large and functionable. In saying that, DO NOT say yes to the Diamond Resort presentation they offer you during checkin. No matter how good the gift sounds, just say no. 90 minutes? Try 4 HOURS LATER! What a horrible Morning. Even though we were promised a no commitment, no pushy sales presentation. Now, the actual sit down in a group presentation we did with the rep from Diamond was great. He was funny and made us all comfortable and we laughed a lot! But the Time Share salespeople - wow. Just so pushy and telling us things like “if you don’t buy into this timeshare you’ll never get to go anywhere in life on vacation”. No thanks, we told them 100 times we couldn’t afford it...I don’t know how many more times we could’ve said it. They just don’t listen. One vulcher finishes then another swoops in still trying to sell. It was a horrible way to spend a morning, and if we hadn’t wasted 4 hours already I was getting up and walking out. We did eventually get our promised gift ($150 Amex gift card) but was it worth it? No. My favourite part was the THIRD salesman who came over, speaking not so softy to us, telling us a bogus story of how our original sales lady really liked us, and felt a connection. She can only offer 3 discounts a year and, as long as we don’t tell anyone this, she could offer it to us (as we’re in a room filled with people and he’s talking so loud someone down the street would’ve heard him). Such bull, so fake and so wrong. Stay at this resort if you like the villa feel and to be close to all of the amenities. Just don’t fall into the trap that we did. We didn’t let it ruin our vacation but it still was something we’d never ever let happen again!

I have been staying at this resort since 2012 and through the years has been my favorite place to stay considering the nice golf course and close proximity to Disney. My last two visits have been awful unfortunately and management didnt seem to care. Our first incident occurred a few months ago when we were returning from Disney at nighttime. My wife and I were carrying our one and two year old back to our room in building 25 and housekeeping had left trash out at the end of hallway and there were 4 or 5 raccoons that had gathered around it and ran right at us as we were trying to get to our room. Startled my wife and I and woke our small children up thank God no one got hurt. I called and emailed staff no one seemed to care. Our second incident happened yesterday we were staying in building 25 again for a two night getaway to disney. Upon arrival my wife and I noticed the room was warmer then usual didnt think much of it we dropped our stuff off and turned ac down to lower setting and went on our way to Disney. When arriving back our room was unbearable thermostat read over 80, orlando in September is miserably hot. We immediately called front desk and they said someone would be there to fix in 15 minutes. 30 minutes later no one came we called again they explained its weekend short staff and I understood i just said please have someone come soon as my children are miserable or place us in a new room. 45 minutes go by no one arrived yet called and spoke to manager lilian she said 7 min someone would arrive no one showed. So I packed our stuff and vacated room and went to front desk to check out and get my money back. They refused stating they dont offer refunds for pre booked rooms that have been paid for. Never heard of that before. Tried called diamond resorts today and still have yet to hear anything back

Family of seven 6 adults and a 4 y/o. We stayed in a 3bd lock-off unit (essentially a 1bd and 2 bd unit) Building 32, rooms 32314-32315. Rooms were large and clean, with enclosed balcony with table and chairs). Comfy beds. Kitchen fully stocked with everything you need to cook in room. (I do suggest adding a spatula). We cooked breakfast every morning prior to heading to the parks with the exception of one morning where we had reservations for a character breakfast. 4 pools available, 2 with bar service available. Shout out to Matt at The Dunes Lagoon grill who was super friendly!!! They allow personal coolers at the Terrace pool and Courtyard pools. Gated community with beautiful grounds fun miniature golf course. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and helpful. WiFi somewhat slow but worked for us. Resort is super close (0.5 miles) from a Super Walmart a big plus. Super close to Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Animal Kingdom. After you check in there are approximately 9 employees all trying to get your attention to try to entice you to listen to their timeshare presentation. We just said "No thanks" and kept on walking out. They do provide a shuttle to some of the parks but at inconvenient times, we had a car so we did not need service. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank You Mystic Dunes for a great Disney family vacation.

"They stink at the Details... Ruined my birtthday"

It was my birthday and Mystic Dunes was a disapointment. They "lost " the birthday gift my mother sent for my special day... their banquet manager at Kenzie's "Bri" was rude in more ways than i can possibly write here... the gave me a room without a whirlpool even though i asked for one in my initial order and at the front desk before check in... finally, all of my belonging got soacked in the pouring rain when i got locked outside of my room because my access card didn't work. We've called, complained online and over the phone.. weeks have gone by and i've not heard from Diamond Resorts. NO apology, no offer of compensation. NO nothing. The place is nice, but if you are looking for details or going fof a special occassion... go some place else. i've been here before and they've gotten worse over the years.

My husband and I stayed at this resort this past summer and will be going back again in October. As with every Diamond resort, everything is very new and clean. Our ground floor unit had a nice porch out back. The resort has 4 pools and a gym that I used during my stay. They have a restaurant and poolside bars on the property. The bars have mixed drinks that come in reusable little buckets and your drinks are discounted if you bring the bucket back. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The only trouble we experienced occurred when we attended the membership presentation. We were told we could have a late checkout for attending the presentation, but then got locked out of our unit after the regular checkout time. We spent 1/2 hour waiting for security to get us back into the unit. Another thing I found off-putting is that they do not allow pedestrians or bicycles on the golf cart trails. They have bicycle rentals, but no where to ride them except up and down the main road. Overall, it's a great place to stay close to 192 and the Disney parks. There are songbirds and waterfowl on the property, like White-eyed Vireos, Northern Parulas, Black-bellied Whistling Ducks, herons, and egrets. There are 2 Pokestops and 1 gym for Pokemon Go players. As far as Diamond resorts go, we prefer Liki Tiki resort in Winter Garden because we do not play golf, however Mystic Dunes still has all the amenities we love.
