"Weekend Gateway!"

This is a great hotel due to it being within walking distance to downtown Gatlinburg. It was a great value. The room was okay. The tub had hair in the drain and the pillows were flat and not very comfortable.
I would give this place a 3 star but giving it 4 because on our way back to the hotel, the key was deactivated. It was after midnight. The hotel had 3 keys taped to the lobby door. I don't know how safe that is but sure glad they had it.

The staff was so pleasant. This motor inn is well kept, a 3 minute walk to downtown Gatlinburg, and very friendly. A great value! We will be staying here again.

"average accommodations good service"

It was an okay place to stay for an inexpensive getaway with my small children. No complaints and lower rating is only because the hotel is a bit dated, but for the price it is a good value!

Our go to place in Gatlinburg. We always enjoy our stay. Great location, better people, checked in on us to make sure we were ok during the flood, upgraded our room because of the length of our stay. Gave us advice on where to eat and what night to go for better deals. Stayed 7 nights and hated to leave.

"Cheap Motel"
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5

We have stayed here before and really only returned because of the price and location. It is conveniently close to the main strip with the Aquarium and Anakeesta only two to three blocks away. Staff was friendly during check-in and were eager to help. Aside from this this motel is as cheap as it gets. Place is very old and hasn't been updated in a long time. The carpet in our room was stained and old. Furniture was old, torn, and very outdated. Bathroom was very old and in certain parts moldy. We immediately removed the bed covers and used the ones from home. Microwave and refrigerator were functional. There was almost no light in the room so it was very dark. Overall, we have no plans to return. Honestly, they really should update/renovate urgently, especially the bed sheets and covers and the carpet.

Nice quite motel with short walk to town. Nothing super fancy, but nice and clean. Very reasonable prices as well. We stay here as much as possible because the staff are friendly and eager to make your stay a pleasant one.

"Yes it's close to downtown for walking, but the location is it's only good feature"

Ok, so you know you are getting a cheap hotel room and I was ready. The good thing for us is we ended up staying in the room directly over the office, which we later found out was about the best room in the place. (We had no side neighbors to bother us with noise, our own balcony overlooking the cracked pool and street so we could people watch when we were in the room so + ) Anyway, I should have taken pictures, but what was the real point. The carpet and furniture was extremely stained. The wooden arms of the chair was brown with stains. (I came prepared with clorox wipes for such contingencies). The bedspread had a LOT of random hairs all over it. The sheets themselves did appear clean, but it was November, so I would have liked to have been able to pull the bedspread up to my face, but wasn't happening. The tub was literally running when we walked in the room. My husband was able to get it to stop, for the most part. We didn't bother asking for another room as we were told when we registered they were booked solid. The fridge was cold, so + there. The room heater maintained a good temperature, even if the unit was noisy. Overall, it was a cheap motel room. Had we been staying for an extended period of time, no way. We were on a quick trip, last minute and had to find a room on a budget, so had little choice. I hope this helps someone make an educated decision.
