"So bad and RATCHET "

This hotel is gross and had so many issues. No blankets in room, broken elevators, gross shower, bad duvet, no locking bathroom, eerie feel. There is a north and south side, and staff did not explain to us what area our room would be in. Would not stay again. Only plus: say the reds game fireworks from our room.

"Don’t lie to us! "

We had 2 separate rooms and asked if we could have joining rooms and we was told yes we have 2 rooms beside each other. Get to our room and they are not adjoining rooms and there is a stairwell and the elevators between us. Called the front desk and explained what was up. We proceeded to tell them the room beside us is adjoining and asked if it was available and we was told it was not adjoining. We are looking at the door that goes into the next room and it’s clearly together. Sara from the front desk please check next time and give out true information.

"Unfriendly Front Desk"
TripAdvisor user rating 1 out of 5
Reviewed July 16, 2019 NEW
Where do we start? I noticed the night before our trip that somehow it was booked incorrectly through Expedia. I immediately called when I noticed the error and spoke to probably the only friendly person at the front desk. My error was to not get their name. As they told me changing my room to another one would not be an issue. Well it was an issue and now four of us would have to share a "twin" room, though the picture clearly showed a King bed with a couch that I thought was a futon type that converts to a "twin". The attendant called for her supervisor Amanda to assist in overriding. Of course Amanda clearly stated that's what we booked nothing she could do for us. I had to continue to discuss the issue and b/c I couldn't provide a name of the person I spoke with she could not change anything as they were overbooked. After back and forth, and me showing the picture of the room I was able to get one with a couch. She said we could change the next day but we didn't bother as she was absolutely miserable to deal with. I know it was busy that weekend, but perhaps you should have had more staff on hand knowing you were overbooked. Our refrigerator was broken, the nice maint. people changed it, the couch was peeling and the black leather was everywhere. We asked for extra sheets for the couch, and they sent blankets and 2 pillows without cases. Called again for 2 sheets, and 2 pillow cases...we got about 5 sheets, and 15 pillow cases. Shower head was terrible. Also, the pool was very crowded and the water cloudy. I understand you don't have a lifeguard, however someone should be monitoring your capacity. Saturday night you were well over 49 people in the pool. You are lucky no one was injured or drowned. Lastly, at check out I wanted to make sure every thing was complete and nothing else needed from me. When the front desk person checked our records she just mentioned..."you only took liquor from the pool bar". I looked at her and stated I didn't take anything I ordered and paid for drinks at the pool bar. She looked at me puzzled and stated that's what I mean. Last time I checked the two did not mean the same. Overall, dingy older hotel, in a town that was also very unappealing. Nothing was fully staffed, all the workers looked miserable, and the last they wanted to do was to assist anyone. I hope to NEVER have to go back to Cincinnati...but if for some reason I do I will definitely NOT book this hotel. I highly recommend working on your Front Desk team and providing some Customer Service training. You are in the hospitality kind. And our TV didn't work. It would turn on and off. And check behind the fridge, I'm thinking all that plugged into an extension cord is not wise. Lamps, refrigerator, tv???

"It was pretty bad."
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5
Reviewed July 14, 2019 NEW
The entire hotel was eerie and uncomfortable because of the lighting, the halls were tight, it was confusing to find the right tower (there are literally two different towers), the stairs are narrow and difficult to find and also difficult to find your way around, because Stairs A in the North Tower go to EMPLOYEES ONLY places on levels 1-3 so I had to walk all the way back up to floor 4, go to Stairs B, and go back down, because competition for the elevators was too much and I couldn’t get an elevator. The breakfast was also pretty bad, everything was greasy and the things that were supposed to be cold were warm. The stairs were also not well kept, it was uncomfortable on the staircases because it felt more like a dimly lit dungeon than a staircase. The elevators also went to random floors, one of them kept going up to floors 31 and 32 when nobody pressed the button to go up there, and once up there, nobody was waiting. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable in a hotel in my entire life. I guess the rooms were alright, I don’t have much to say about those. Beds were decently comfortable.

"Old motel masked as a business hotel"

Reviewed July 12, 2019 NEW
Pictures must have been taken from 20 years ago. This place is not only dated, its dirty and they are exceptionally unaccommodating. DIRTY carpets in the rooms, and I'm not exaggerating. Im talking stains everywhere, and dirt all around the baseboards. Old squeaky hard as heck mattress with a dip where people have been sleeping for years. The loudest window AC unit i have ever experienced. A shower head that barely trickled out water and a drain that acted more like a stopper and filled up the tub while I showered. If thats not enough to convince you, they charge $28 a day to park on top of your reservation. When we wanted to cancel our next night they told us they wouldn't accommodate us and would charge us our whole reservations regardless of why we were cancelling. I chose this hotel because I was thinking ok; looks nice, had decent ratings, is downtown and holds conferences so it must be someplace that is at least comfy for a few nights. I have never been so uncomfortable in any hotel/motel before. Definitely don't recommend, no matter how cheap you get the room. They have lots of deals, and there is a reason...
