"OKAY hotel for price and location"

Nice staff but 30 minute wait for check in. It was a Saturday and there was only (2) clerks checking folks in. This should be addressed as there were a large number of people checking in because the Bengals game was the next day. Knowing that, they should have staffed better. 5-10 minute wait for the elevators. The hotel smelled musty in the lobby area. Our room was clean. It was nice to have an on site bar. The breakfast was $10 but did not taste so great. Everything was just OKAY to be downtown but not as bad as other reviewers said. [Pictures Show the long line at check in]

The millennium is in the heart of downtown near the baseball and football stadiums. Staying near downtown is great if you're are attending those locations because traffic can get hectic. Enter the Millennium hotel. The great thing about this hotel is mainly the location. To be near a lot of action, you are really paying for the convenient location. The help is friendly and whenever I stay, it isn't really busy. On the flip side, the design and rooms are very dated. You would think it would look a little fresher for the price, but as I said before, you are paying for location. It's an okay hotel for the price. If you are looking for a big discount for a room, this is the place you want to go.

A tired hotel that really needs seeing to. Rooms are comfortable enough but the bed mattress was really hard. Our room wasn’t serviced and we were next to the ice machine which is unbelievably loud. Not what we expected from this hotel chain.

The hotel has fabulous people working there, all very eager to please, very customer-focused. Right downtown, within walking distance to the riverfront, Reds and Bengals stadiums. Many restaurants nearby, art venues, bars. A vibrant downtown! Hotel pros: centrally located, clean, comfy beds, customer-friendly employees. Cons: $28/day valet parking only, rooms are clean but slightly dated, no safe in the room. A good stay here for the $$.

"Nightmare Experience"

I stayed ay the Millenium Cincinnati from August 11 to August 16. Firth’s, before I had arrived, they DOUBLE CHARGED me for my room. I had paid upfront for 5 nights. I thought I had straighten this out upon my arrival, only to find out at my check out, they charged my card a THIRD time. Plus, I was informed by the clerk upon checking they would discount my valet parking ($28 per night) by 50%. When checking out, they refused to honor the discount. I spoke with Amanda, the front office manager and was assured I would receive a one night discount for my troubles. I waited 1 week for the refund and it was NEVER credited to my account. I tried to reach Amanda but she would not return my calls. YES this was a NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE. PLEASE don’t stay at this property. You will be greatly disappointed. P.S. the couch in the room looked like it was gathered from the street. It was peeling vinyl.
