The hotel is nice. The room was clean. The staff was friendly. They just definitely need to work on their breakfast. They need to add some meat, eggs, gravy with the biscuits. They just have alot of breads, cereal, and waffles. Also the hot tub did not work. Other than that we had a nice stay.

You get what you pay for. But being a Wyndham property, I expected more, I was wrong. If you need a place to just shower and sleep this would be great except you won't be able to sleep. You can hear your hotel neighbors on each side of you and above you including everybody and anybody walking down the hall. The rooms are small and would be okay if the carpet and window seat bench did not have multiple stains, it was gross.

I would not recommend this hotel , rooms smelt like urine staff was not friendly or helpful breakfast wasn’t all that great, and the pool wasn’t very clean . Definitely not worth the nightly rate we will not be back.

I booked this place without doing much research, so I went based off of reviews for lodging near SeaWorld. I also didn’t want to spend a lot on hotel stay (that’s my fault). I start off with 5 points and deduct from there when reviewing. So, let’s begin. -1 point right from the start. We get checked in at 9pm and head to our room. The door is propped open with the dead bolt. My husband pushes the door open and the room is completely torn apart. Beds aren’t made, restroom is filthy. I should have known then that this was going to be a HUGE mistake then. We have a 2 year old and a 4 year old. I went downstairs to talk to the front desk, and after 15 minutes I was able to get us a different room. Problem solved? You’d think. The room was fairly clean (dead silverfish in the bathroom and nasty hair in the bathtub drain). However -1 point for the paper thin walls and super uncomfortable beds. You can hear everyone surrounding you and their TVs that they leave on until 3am. No, not the muffled sounds that you’d normally expect to hear. I’m talking full blown conversations. -1 point for the carb loaded breakfast. You get your choice of waffles, cereal, biscuits and gravy, bread, muffins, oatmeal, or bagel. There is also peach or black cherry Activia yogurt, which is somewhat healthier but not enough to fill you up. I think there were also unripened bananas and some apples.

I NEVER COMPLAIN... I am a longtime Diamond member with Wyndham's Rewards program. As a Corporate Sales Director, I stay at Wyndham properties throughout the U.S. about 50% of the year. This hotel is not bad but management is NOT accommodating and VERY DISHONEST. I booked a room, using my Wyndam points, at this hotel with my Wyndham app for 4 nights to take our granddaughter to SeaWorld for a few days. I booked it about a week or so in advance. After realizing that the room was a little small, I called the hotel to inquire about a Diamond upgrade to a suite or change my reservation to a suite. The lady I spoke to said, "oh, you're a Diamond member so we can accommodate you." She said she would make a note on my reservation. I thanked her and hung up. Last night, we arrive at the hotel after driving 6 hours, check in, go to the room and realize that it's the 2 bed room that I originally booked. I went to the front desk to let the front desk know that I should have a suite. The gentleman at the counter looked at my reservation and said that yes, there was a note to upgrade me and he started to do so. While trying to upgrade me, he sees that all suites are booked. He calls someone, the manager I think, and they're not able to accommodate me. I called Wyndham directly to see if they could keep the points used for the first night but credit the points for the next 3 nights. They said I would have to check out and then they could call the hotel directly to try and do that. I booked at another Wyndham affiliated hotel about 15 minutes away and checked out but booked having to pay since I didn't have enough reward points to get 4 nights free again. Well after checking out, the gentleman behind the counter said he couldn't do anything and the manager was out. This morning, Wyndham reached out to the manager and they said they would not credit me back the unused points because I was given the room I booked and went past the cancellation period. Well, if I knew they wouldn't accommodate what they said they would, I would have cancelled and rebooked elsewhere. I use points often and NEVER dealt with management like this. As a matter of fact, the other Wyndham hotel which I'm currently at now, knew of the situation because it was 9pm and I was frustrated. The manager on duty discounted my room even more and made sure that Microtel San Antonio near SeaWorld WAS NOT a reflection of their hotel. You'll know this hotel soon. Only one other time have I had an issue with a Wyndham affiliated hotel and they're not Wyndham anymore. I will leave it at that for now.
