"Maui Nui Luau - Worth checking out"
July 2018
My wife and I initially booked this luau as our second option due to the Olde Lahaina Luau being booked up well past our vacation date. We were both pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. The dancers were fantastic, the cliff diver and fire dancer wowed and the food was great too. We were seated with four other couples and had a great time conversing with them and enjoying the show. I'm not sure how good the Olde Lahaina Luau would have been, but this whole experience was definitely worth the price.

This was a great show but we watched from our hotel room. We had a corner room in building 2 overlooking the show. We were not into the food experience so this was perfect for us and one night my girlfriend even got a lay on the way back to the hotel room!! Very nice people! We got to watch this twice from our balcony. Perfect show!

"That MC is an entertainer"

the revue did not look too extravagant when we waited in 90 degrees heat and looked over the tables on the lawn with wind blowing; the stage looked smallish. but after we got seated around 5 PM the place got more lively. the buffet was average at best but Mr. MC, with a very casual dress and a flip-flop, looked unassuming but turned out to be anything but. He was able to engage the crowd throughout the show and made everyone in attendance feel they are part of the show (me and my wife actually stood up and joined the slow dancing crowd (we have not done that in decades). the hula dance was routine but the flame thrower performance was quite captivating. Again the MC stole the show.

Our son did a great job on choosing this Luau! We had front row seats for us and his family. The little girls 2 & 4 had a great time as we did also! The setting is gorgeous with the black rocks behind you! Enjoy the Aloha spirit!

"Not for Summer!"
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5
Reviewed July 17, 2019
This is one that you can miss, if you have to go to a Luau and you choose this one, you can buy tickets just for the show at 6:45pm. If I knew this ahead of time, I would have come later. Sheraton or whom ever is in charge of putting this on did not plan well for summer. The sun is in your eyes, or beating on your back!!!. You get there around 5pm, and with most others you are not in your seat, you are hiding in some small section of shade, close to the drink table, or anywhere you are lucky enough to find it. Please, do use sunscreen. The food, is OK, I thought the pork was good, considering I usually just eat the fish, that was good too. It's just too hot to enjoy eating. The show is ok, they put a lot of effort in including the audience, and not so much in the history of the islands, which is what I am used to on Kauai. But if you prefer the audience being called to dance or stand for categories then you might like this. When we purchased we did ask about shade and at Boss Frogs where we purchased the tickets, they told us, yes, we would be in the shade. Not true, no table that I observed was in the shade.

This was the third Luau we have done on three trips to Hawaii. This was the best Luau we have been to out of the three. We had premium seating which put us in the front row and you were also able to get your food first. The people were friendly and nice. The fire dancer was excellent and I would highly recommend this Luau
