"Best Birthday Eva"

My husband took me for my birthday to do a Dolphin Encounter. Had we paid for just the general admission, I’d probably have left a much less favorable review. What other reviewers have said is true; the turtle/shark area does not seem to be well kept. However, our experience with Ms. Dazzle was amazing. She(the dolphin)was so amazing! To be so close to her, to be able to touch her and interact with her was just so cool. Marked off the bucket list, although we may have to go back once more to do the swim; it looked like a ton of fun. Our trainer was also amazing, super friendly and you could tell she loves what she does. Best experience of our extended weekend vacay in St. Augustine(our face place by the way)!!!!<3

"Great place to take your grandchildren!"

Summer of 2019, first visit was with our 7 year old grandson, next visit was with our 5 year old grandson. Both loved the entire experience. Interacting with the dolphins was the highlight. They were very interested in all the indoor exhibits & reported all they learned when they got home. The dolphin show was fun. We plan to take our 6 year old granddaughter when she visits this summer, she’s been looking forward to it!

"Unethical"
TripAdvisor user rating 1 out of 5

Unethical. Overpriced.Upon entry there were 2 above ground pools. These pools were homes to 2 turtles. The tanks were ridiculously small and filthy. There was a tank that was completely empty and uncared for. Another tank was so filthy that I couldn’t see whether there was anything living inside or not. As soon as I walked around the back of entrance and saw the “pool” area I couldn’t believe the dolphins lived in that small amount of space. I continued to look with hopes that there was something I was missing but no. The living conditions are ridiculously small. The dolphins not participating in the interaction are blocked off in small circular pools. There was a brief speech on single use plastics and keeping oceans clean... the dolphins are exploited and constantly bribed with fish to pose for pictures. The dolphins would divert and swim away and be continuously called back to finish taking pictures. I am curious what the ridiculous amount of money people are paying is going towards.

"Waste of time and money, lack of care for animals"

We arrived at 1:13 for a 1:30 $300 experience (the only big money thing we could afford to do this whole vacation) and were told we missed it and that the group had left 3 minutes ago. We asked if we could just join the group that was only 3 minutes ahead and were told no. I’m confused why we lose out on $300 because this place decided to start the tour 20 minutes early. I should have looked at the terrible yelp reviews first. This place is notorious for dirty tanks, over pricing services, and terrible customer service. Not to mention this place is tiny and has 3 tanks. I feel bad for people that actually pay admission to this place. Attached: proof starting time was shown as 1:30.
