The hotel and staff are amazing. Great place just to escape. You never have to leave the hotel. Everything is in walking distance if you do decide to leave, but there is no need to. We had a blast and cannot wait to come back again.

"Bad Check Out/Customer Service"

I was handed a bill at check-out for my room service ($22) and an additional charge for over $100. I stated that the room service was mine, but the charge from the bar was not. The supervisor, Bob, told me that they would look into it and call me if they found anything out. I said no, I do not want to deal with a fraudulent charge via a phone call. He then informed me that just as I’m not willing to pay the $100, the hotel was not going to just dismiss it without evidence it wasn’t me. I stated that I did not drink alcohol and was not at the hotel bar the night before. I then asked for a manager. Dave, the on-shift manager, stated it would take a while as he would have to dig through the physical receipts back in the office. I then again stated that I was not going to pay $100 for something I didn’t purchase; Bob again told me that some guests forget that they purchased things and they can’t take the charge off without proof. At this point I’m getting heated as I do not appreciate someone in a round-about way insinuating that I’m a liar. I’ve now waited more than 30 minutes to check out (with my <1 year old in tow). Dave comes out with what looks to be the receipt with room 218 written on it. Bob clearly notices it was the wrong room and told him it was incorrect (I’m making a wild guess that my room was charged due to clerical error at the bar). After waiting longer, Bob and Dave walk out of the back. Bob states “well, I guess we have to believe you,” further adding insult to injury. Dave the manager walks away and as insincerely as possible says “sorry for the inconvenience.” That was it, I paid the $22 for my room service and left. Your guests shouldn’t have to suffer for your hotel’s lack of systems/procedures when charging a room. Good experience ruined by a terrible check out and sub-par customer service.

The resort was amazing. Bathrooms were gorgeous. They let us check in at 1030am. The only downfall was the resort didn’t have enough lounge chairs by the pull to accommodate everyone. They had plenty of regular sitting but people want to be able to lay back in a lounge chair when laying out by the pool.
