"Nice older resort , great location and friendly staff."
June 2019
Resort is huge, staff is exceptionally nice and helpful. The resort itself is older and in need of some minor cosmetic repairs that they were working on while we are there. They have two large pools that we spent a lot of time at. Only downsides was they charged more for the resort fee than what I was told in my invoice, they put us in the far back building so we had a hike to both of the pools. The location is close to all of the parks, plenty of restaurants and shopping. The resort has a bus that travels to and from the parks and leaves on time early so we had plenty of time to get to the parks before they opened. The on site restaurant had a large breakfast selection.

"old and needing maintenance"
January 2019
Looked so nice online - its very outdated, Rooms were clean'ish (no bugs) but the ceilings had paint chipping from them. bathrooms old and manky as well as the rooms musty with no natural air coming in. Overall the staff was friendly and very helpful but the rest of the place could really do with a good lick of paint and some serious basic maintenance.

"Not a Resort"
December 2018
The pictures looked nice and the location was convenient. This place is not a resort it is a roach motel. The room smelled awful there was rust in bathroom. Floors were disgusting. I was very unhappy but was unable to cancel as I had prepaid and didn't cancel in time. I will never stay there again.

"Not Bad"

A nice place for the price. It is not loud at night and is close to Disney. We had a couple of small issues, we paid for a pool side view from our room and did not get it, but overall nice stay.

Terrible! For those looking for comfort and cleanliness, this hotel is not a good option. When arriving from a long trip, we came across stained and badly filled carpets, dirty bedding and bath, dirty shower floors, and remnants of soaps left in the shower by previous guests.

Check in was quick and pleasant. During the nights we stayed we encountered small rouches including in the bath tub and toilet paper rolls. Notified staff and they did not care. I would never stay here again. Pro: close to Disney, roll away beds available for rental ($12 a night).

The front desk staff Ayman and Kevin were very courteous and helpful. The Food and Beverage staff Martha, Ira, Syretta and Javier were all so friendly, and Ira made the best omelettes. The cleaning staff were also very efficient.

Decided to take a very last minute trip to Disney and got a fantastic price on this hotel room. A couple of issues came up but they were both quickly resolved by management who was very nice about everything. Walking distance to Walgreens, pizza, gift shops, Wendy's, Denny's and more. Hotel is old and run down for sure but cleaning staff was wonderful. Beds were super comfortable. If you're looking for a cheap place to lay your head while visiting Disney this is the place.

"Great value for a bit of fading glory"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5
Reviewed November 25, 2019 NEW
We are an adult couple, and stayed here for 1 week during late November, primarily for a visit to WDW. Our room was a King standard, with lake view (in building 4, first floor). Pros: Friendly, helpful staff. Clean Housekeeping, with comfortable beds and pillows. Maintenance fixed a small issue we had very quickly. Free shuttle to the parks is very useful. Location is great, and Walgreens right next door is convenient. There is also an on-site restaurant for hot breakfast buffet, which was quite nice and filling - staff there also super nice. There is an on-site pizza hut/deli convenience store, which is open in the afternoons, and has a lot of variety. There is a pool bar, as well, and a mini golf course and arcade, but we didn't use any of these during this trip. Cons: Definitely, the rooms and property in general are showing signs of age and are looking a bit run-down. There was a huge stain on our room carpet, old furnishings, etc. Front desk seemed a bit understaffed at times. We wish the parks shuttle had some afternoon return times. Hurricane Sam's, the Tiki bar onsite, was never open (looks like it's closed permanently?) Overall: This "resort" must have been really something in its day - and I'm guessing that day was late 80s/early 90s, because it appears to be generally stuck there, and now just sort of fading away out of its glory days. For us, this was actually kind of perfect - we like our hotels to have a little bit of character, and this one has it in spades. We felt like this was a great value, and overall very comfy stay. Everything was clean, quiet, and quite spacious (just a wee bit run down), everyone was friendly and helpful. The food was good, the location is great, the size of the property is huge and quite pleasant to wander around. I think if they took out the carpets in the rooms and perhaps gave everything a new coat of paint, it would do a lot to improve the perception of guests who are looking for more cosmetic appeal. But for us, either way, we had a great time and we'd definitely stay here again.
