"Fun for all!"
April 2019
My family really enjoyed spending time at the zoo. Our girls especially liked petting the sting ray's and being able to play in the splash area on a hot day. The carousel was also a big hit. We appreciated how the zoo was set up into areas so we could choose what we wanted to see first. Everyone was very excited to see a real rhinoceros! A good time was had by all!

Tip: Bring strollers. The place is big and you will do a lot of walking. We brought one and rented one for an older child. Ended up saving the day!

Wow! Literally all I can say! My son loves the zoo so I decided since I haven't took him to one in 3 years why not find somewhere in FL to take him. My wife and I traveled from CT and decided to check out this zoo. we weren't looking at the map because we wanted to let it all be a surprise. But let me tell you this zoo is huge. We noticed there was a little water park for children and I was actually in shock it was about 90 degrees and we didn't expect a water park to be here!! my son loved it he cooled down and played with other children. BTW the food here was delicious! Also we saw that you can feed the giraffes and rhino which was amazing!!!!!!!! also there's a little truck that can tour you around the zoo. Such a great experience for me and my family.

We brought a yearly pass and it's worth it. We always make friends and enjoy the sites. It's a small zoo but very fun and the attractions are fun...we rode the water ride at least 20 times. The kids had fun wetting us and we didnt mind because it's so damn hot in Florida... we return so many times and always enjoy ourselves.

We visited the zoo with a four year old and 10 month old. We were lucky we got there when it opened because the heat was unbearable by early afternoon. They have fans blowing everywhere but it was impossible to keep our baby comfortable. The animals are well taken care of and the variety of animals is impressive. If you go, make sure to take advantage of the sting ray feeding opportunity. It was the highlight of my day. There are rides that are fun for my four year old and a nice splash park. My mom loves watching the koala and her baby. The only complaint we had was the extremely slow moving service at the Savanna food oasis. I was there was not too many people in the line before me because it took the staff an incredibly long time to serve French fries and meatball subs. We would go back to the zoo in the future.

This is a very nice little zoo. They have a wide variety of animals that are easily seen in a near natural habitat. The manatee exhibit was cool. Take your time, sit and watch the animals, enjoy the day. You have to make your own fun. Its not Disney and that’s a good thing !

We went on Saturday, it was a little busy but not like our visit to Adventure Island last week! The attractions were all ok, fairly clean but people are pigs. I missed Rango very much but the Orangutan exhibit is still my favorite. The additional charge for some of the rides and attractions are getting out of hand. Too much for the average family to enjoy. And for what they’re offering these days, an overall disappointing visit. If they are going to compete with other World class zoos around the country, they need to work harder. We went to the Bronx zoo two weeks ago and it was mesmerizing! When we got thirsty and stopped at a cart, the drinks weren’t even cold?? We were hungry about 3 hours into our trip and decided to eat we decided on the beer garden. The pizza was horrid and big enough for two people. The cheese tray had a few pieces of cheese on itvthat I believe were walked over by foot from the Serengeti they were so dry and the hummus and chips tasted processed, plasticky and chemically infused! In other words our opinion for future reference was don’t eat there! The icing on the cake as we were leaving hungry was a cart selling donuts that we figured would hold us in the meantime until we actually found food to eat but as we soon discovered that was also a mistake! They tasted 3-4 days old, crusty hard and sour almost! Another waste of money. My opinion is eat before and/or After you go there but do not expect to see The Bronx Zoo, the San Diego Zoo, the Minneapolis Zoo or anything similar?!!!
