"Nice Hotel - but missing some basics"
October 2018
First of all - This hotel was sold out on every other website and direct, so a BIG thanks for Reserve Orlando. The good: friendly staff, cute themeing, good free breakfast, includes premium parking for the park. The bad: the pool closes in the middle of the day 12-4pm and no daily housekeeping service with minimum stays. We would stay again when we visit Legoland because the price was a good value.

Tip: good breakfast, pool closes midday, free premium parking for legoland.

Tip: The conveniences of a hotel are lacking a bit at the beach retreat, but it was nothing that affected our trip in a negative way.

"Cozy rooms, incredible staff, great activities"

The rooms are slightly small, but if you’re there for all the other activities offered, then size of room doesn’t matter. All the staff we interacted with were awesome. The s’mores were great, walking distance to the main building was fine. Breakfast items could be hard, but there are a lot of choices. The resort is tied in with the hotel so we could do activities over there also. We took a pontoon boat ride with Capt, Rue and loved the ride. The capt was knowledgeable, friendly, and a great guy. He knew about the area, hurricanes, vegetation, animal life, and Legoland. I’d ride with Capt. Rue again. On our last night, a drunk driver hit a transformer and knocked out power for the cabins in our area. Chris, on the night staff, was extremely helpful in moving us.

"Perfect for a Small Family Getaway"

It was a beautiful property to stay on. The rooms were adorable and perfect for me and my daughter. I couldn't imagine a larger family staying there due to the one bathroom and tight quarters. However, there's plenty of activities to do outside of the room. My 9 year old daughter loved it! We even visited the hotel lobby to see if that's something we may book in the future but she insists on staying at the resort for when we do return.

We loved it be sure to Check Groupon for deals. Dinner and breakfast there was good. Legoland is just across the road and they give you a free parking voucher or you can take the shuttle. Rooms are a bit smaller than the hotel but neat. Pool was fun wirh sand and playground all in same fenced in area. Would be fun to go with a group of friends and have bungalows near each other.

My family and I took a trip to Legoland Beach Retreat for my son’s 9th birthday! Let us just say it was GREAT! My kids enjoyed the trip so much. The bungalow we had was very clean! There was a separate sleeping area for the kids, which is amazing! We had breakfast included which was also great! We also ventured to legoland park which was conveniently across the street! The experience was positive and I recommend for children!

Strongly recommend watching for super discounts and deals to really enjoy a stay on property without dealing with a severe case of "buyers remorse." The beach resort is adorable, the rooms are cute, but in truth is one room should state it can only accomodate two adults and up to three small children. The property is clean, views are nice. The cosmetics of the property are fun with lego details for everyone to enjoy. The pool is fun but small. Inside the room was adorable, clean. Our son enjoyed receiving the small lego creator bag and playing with the avaialable duplo blocks. Sleep arrangements, let me tell you, no adult should try to sleep on the kids bunk beds or trundle, that matress is tolerable for the kiddos but brutal for grown ups, more reason why it shoukd be emphasized, one room only two adults and up to three small kids. The bathroom is spacious, but sink, and tub are a bit tight. There is no in room sitting accomodations for the family, you are a bit limited to the outside patio, this was a slight disadvantage for a cold evening. The hotel stay included breakfast for the family and it was a great buffet with various choices. We were also impressed to see how proactive the kitchen team was to ask and accomodate those with food sensitivities. Please be cautious when booking through the legoland site, it was not until I was at the point of payment that I was made aware of the $25 day resort fee.
