What do my Kentucky Kingdom tickets include?The 1 Day Pass includes admission to both Kentucky Kingdom amusement park and Hurricane Bay waterpark for one operating calendar date. The 2 Day Pass includes admission to both Kentucky Kingdom and Hurricane Bay waterpark for two (2) operating calendar days. The second day must be used within 5 days of the first visit.
Where is Kentucky Kingdom located?Kentucky Kingdom is located at 937 Phillips Lane, Louisville, KY 40209. Kentucky Kingdom is on the grounds of the Kentucky Exposition Center, in the heart of Louisville at the intersection of I-65 and I-264. Follow the highway signs to the Kentucky Expo Center/Kentucky Kingdom and Hurricane Bay.
Are hotel pick-ups / drop-offs available?Yes, but with a fee and to be coordinated with the park. Hotel shuttles should drop-off adjacent to the fountain on Freedom Way and exit Gate 1 or 6.
Is Kentucky Kingdom amusement park and waterpark suitable for all ages?Kentucky Kingdom welcomes families and guests of all ages. Guests ages 15 and under must be accompanied by a chaperone. Guests without a chaperone who cannot provide identification proving they are at least 16 years of age will not be permitted entry. Kentucky Kingdom considers chaperones as a parent, guardian, or other supervising adult age 21 or over with a valid ID, including a photograph and date of birth. Valid types of identification include driver's license, non-driver ID card, passport, visa or military ID. Each chaperone can accompany up to 6 guests aged 15 and under. Every person 4 years old or older must have a valid admission ticket to enter the park.
Can I leave and re-enter the park?You may leave the park and return on the same day by presenting your ticket to the gate attendant for re-entry.
Is there free parking?No, but paid parking spaces are available. If you leave the parking lot, you will be required to pay the Kentucky Exposition Center’s parking fee to re-enter. Parking fee is $10.00 per car and $20.00 per bus. (Subject to change.)
Are there ATMs in the park?ATMs are located at the Season Pass Processing Center near the entrance to Kentucky Kingdom and inside 5D Cinema store. For your convenience, food locations, retail shops, and games throughout the park accept cash and credit cards.
Are pets allowed in the park?No. Only service animals are allowed in the park.
What items are allowed in the park?Guests are required to walk through a security checkpoint. Additional screening may be required. The following may NOT be brought into the park: - Weapons such as knives or guns - Outside food or drink - Glass containers - Alcohol - Drugs or other illegal substances - Coolers or picnic baskets - Vehicles or two-wheeled electric scooters - Skateboards, bicycles, or skates - Pets - Drones - Fireworks - Flotation devices (kickboards, noodles, water wings, etc.), with the exception of puddle jumpers, which are allowed - Swimming flippers - Large umbrellas or pop-up shade structures of any kind - Water guns or toys that shoot projectiles - Life jackets not approved by U.S. Coast Guard - Any item determined by management to impede the safety or diminish the experience of our guests
Can I bring my camera?Yes, you may bring your camera. However, you are not permitted to have a camera on Kentucky Kingdom rides because cameras and cell phones are considered loose articles.
What do I wear?Guests must wear proper clothing (shoes, shirts, and shorts, pants, or cover-ups) for admission to Kentucky Kingdom and at all times while inside the amusement park. Clothing or body art that is rude, vulgar, or contains inflammatory language or graphics must be covered. Kentucky Kingdom and Hurricane Bay is a family-friendly park and reserves the right to determine whether a guest’s attire or body art is appropriate.
What do I do in case of emergency while at the park?The park has three (3) Health Services locations. Licensed Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) are available on site to service your medical needs. In accordance with medical protocol, EMTs may not dispense medication. If you need medication, please plan to bring your own or you may purchase from a selection of over-the-counter medications in the park's gift shops. For natural catastrophes, please follow instructions that are given.

Is the park accessible for guests with special needs?Kentucky Kingdom and Hurricane Bay offers a variety of accommodations and services for guests with special needs. Visit their website to learn more about each feature that they can provide for guests with wheelchairs, autism, guests with food allergies, guests who prefer gender neutral spaces, and prosthetics. The ride operator will accommodate the wheelchair user and his/her party. Guests with a cast or brace will not be allowed to ride if the cast or brace does not fit properly in the ride vehicle, presents a hazard to other guests, or will not allow proper rider posture.
Is the park wheelchair/stroller accessible?Yes, the park is wheelchair and stroller accessible. The ride operator will accommodate the wheelchair user and his/her party. Strollers, wheelchairs, and electric convenience vehicles are available for rent near the front gate on a first-come, first-served basis. Strollers may be rented for children only. There is a weight limit of 60 pounds for a single stroller and 100 pounds for a double stroller. Wheelchairs have a weight limit of 250 pounds and the ECV weight limit is 450 pounds.
Are there height/weight/age restrictions?Yes, height and weight restrictions vary for attractions throughout the park. 'Ride requirements' signs are posted at the entrance to each attraction.
Are there lockers for rent?Yes. All-day lockers are available to rent by credit card only on a first-come, first-served basis in various locations in Hurricane Bay.
