Is the hotel pet-friendly?

Hotel Monteleone provides a pet-friendly hotel environment. A $100 non-refundable fee and $25 per night charge per room is due upon arrival. Please notify the hotel directly prior to your arrival date if traveling with a pet. Pet-friendly rooms are limited. 

Can I reserve a smoking room?

No, this is a non-smoking hotel.

Does the hotel have WiFi?

Yes, the hotel currently has high-speed WiFi Internet access in all guest rooms and public areas. WiFi is complimentary.

Does the hotel serve a complimentary breakfast?

No, the hotel has restaurants on site open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Does the hotel have a restaurant/lounge/bar/coffee shop?

Yes. Criollo Restaurant, and Carousel Bar & Lounge are onsite. A long-time favorite New Orleans hot spot, the famous Carousel Bar is the only revolving bar in New Orleans. There is no dress code at the Carousel Bar & Lounge.

Does the hotel have a pool?

Yes, there is an outdoor pool. Hotel Monteleone's heated rooftop pool is open from 6:00 am – 10:00 pm (year-round). Acqua Bella, the poolside bar, is open from 11:00 am – 6:00 pm (in season) and serves a wonderful selection of refreshing beverages. Access to the pool is reserved exclusively for hotel guests.

Does the hotel have a fitness center?

Yes, the Hotel Monteleone has a complimentary fitness center with 24-hour key access and panoramic views of both the Mississippi River and the French Quarter. It is for exclusive use of hotel guests. The fitness center offers full cardio machines and strength-training equipment, as well as chilled water and fresh fruit for a nutritious snack.

Is parking available?

Hotel Monteleone offers valet parking for all hotel guests. If you are planning to drive or rent a vehicle, Hotel Monteleone offers valet parking for a nightly fee of $48 plus tax per night for regular-size vehicles, per day.  Due to space restrictions, only a limited amount of parking is available for oversized vehicles (such as F-350s and 15-passenger vans). The hotel cannot accommodate any vehicle over the following specifications: 9 feet, 4 inches high, 79 inches wide, 197 inches long or with a wheelbase of over 116 inches.

Will the room have a safe?

Yes, there is a safe for your valuable belongings.

Will my room have a microwave and mini-fridge?

Rooms have a refrigerator but no microwave.

Does the hotel offer a shuttle service to and from New Orleans International Airport?

The Hotel Monteleone does not have a complimentary dedicated airport shuttle. However, Airport Shuttle offers transportation service to our New Orleans hotel. Airport Shuttle is located on the ground level (baggage claim) area of Louis Armstrong International Airport for transportation to Hotel Monteleone. The current charge is $24.00 US per person (one way). You can also take a taxi directly to the French Quarter hotel. Taxi fare from Armstrong International Airport is $36.00 for 1-2 people traveling together, or $15 per person for groups of 3 or more. Rideshare apps, Lyft and Uber, are available with fares starting at $45.

What is the minimum age to check in?

The reservation holder must be at least 21 years old to check in and is required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Hotel Monteleone is located in the heart of the historic French Quarter and is one of New Orleans' historic landmarks. It is considered one of the official haunted houses in New Orleans.
