"Great hotel on the strip"
June 2016
This hotel is located across the street from the Ride the ducks on the strip. It's very clean and comfortable. We was very happy with our room and the staff was very friendly. It has a fairly small indoor pool which my granddaughter loved. It's definitely priced well compared to some of the other hotels! I'd recommend this hotel as we've stayed here 3x now.

"Beautiful hotel"
March 2015
When choosing this hotel, I read other reviews. Many stated that the beds were rock hard. They were hard and I do prefer soft, but they weren't bad. I slept fine. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was wonderful. The only issue we had was our microwave was old and would shut off in the middle of running to cool down. The facility was elegant and inviting. The room had a fridge and microwave, everything you need. We requested a balcony and got one. We enjoyed the pool and easy access to other attractions. Would stay here again.

"Valentine's Day Retreat at Hotel Grand Victorian"
February 2015
My husband and I traveled with another couple for a weekend stay over Valentine's Day. We had such a great time and were very impressed with the Jacuzzi suite with balcony. Clean, comfortable, quiet, & relaxing. Too cold for the balcony. Received 8 inches of snow and the staff were beyond excellent. They offered a later checkout due to weather and staff came and shoveled out all the vehicles and had the whole lot cleared and de-iced. Wow! they were all just fabulous. We also liked the pool, hot tub, breakfast and tea and the exercise room. Thank you!

"Beautiful hotel"
February 2015
My three year old son and I took a trip away for the weekend and stayed at the Hotel Grand Victorian. Beautiful hotel and lovely rooms! The piano and huge teddy bears in the lobby were definitely a hit with my son. The people were extremely nice and helpful as well. We cannot wait to use our frequent visitor card next time :)

"Horrible hotel"

We stayed 3 nights and 4 days at this “hotel”. Upon check in, we were sent to a room with two queen beds after having made a reservation for a king bed. The management told us too bad, that was all they had left. It would have been nice to actually sleep in bed with my husband for our vacation. When we asked for towels, toilet paper and soap we were told to come bring our towels to the front desk...again no customer service. The rooms are very old, the bathroom is incredibly small and the 20# weight limit on dogs was not adhered to. If you want help from the front desk, you might as well forget it. They couldn’t be bothered to help out. It’s really sad because they have the ability to step it up and make it really something special. My recommendation would be to stay in the brand new La Quinta about 5 miles off the strip....far better service and nicer rooms for your dollar!

My wife and I took an extended weekend to Branson and stayed at the Hotel Grand Victorian. We were happy with everything about our stay. The Desk Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The Housekeeping Staff was courteous and efficient. The Buffet Staff was attentive. The room was nicely appointed and the Location right along the Highway 76 Strip was close to everything we wanted.

"Not Good!!"
TripAdvisor user rating 2 out of 5
Reviewed May 03, 2019 NEW
Went to check in and there were 3 employees sitting at front desk eating dinner. They looked at me and never spoke. I finally asked if I could check in and all 3 looked at each other as if I was causing a problem. That should've been my first cue to find another place to stay. Got into our room and noticed the towels were fresh and bed was made, but also noticed trash on the floor and on the furniture from the previous guest. I reported this to the front desk and was told they would let the supervisor know. The cleaning crew gave little effort to cleaning our room the entire stay. The wet wash cloths and towels were left on the bathroom floor for most of our stay. The floor was never cleaned. They left a note to use the makeup remover they provided and I attempted, but they only left a new package 2 mornings. The bed looked like a 2 year-old tried to make it. The sheets would be left just as they were when we got out of bed and they'd just pull up the comforter to make the bed looked made. We'd find black specs of something blowing from the very loud A/C onto the white bed linens and all over the floor. If you want toilet paper and/or Kleenex, you better bring your own as you'll run out and housekeeping doesn't care and won't leave any...there is a Wal-Mart within walking distance though and you'll frequent it to get the supplies that housekeeping won't supply. I also visited the fitness room and the garbage stayed full of the same trash from Friday thru Tuesday. The same dirty towel and water bottle also sat on the table during this entire time. It wasn't a big fitness room, but could've been adequate had they attempted to clean it. The breakfast is a typical continental breakfast but without offering many condiments such as yogurt stir ins. They offer pancakes and waffles but don't give any options other than butter and syrup. No chocolate chips, whipped topping, or anything. The breakfast room is very, very, very small for a 5 floor hotel. There were groups during our stay and they rudely took over the room and left no room for other guest. The hotel seems to be much older, but has been maintained with paint and carpet; however, the housekeeping crew does not see to keep it clean. With it being older you can hear everything as the walls are very thin. We did visit the indoor pool and it was nice, but it was very cold. I did report our many problems to the desk clerk on several occasions. Each clerk said they'd tell the supervisor, but I heard them also tell others the same thing and nothing changed during our entire stay.
