Description

from Hot Air Balloon Rides in Phoenix / Scottsdale
Breathtaking. Magical. Awe-inspiring.

These are just a few words that have been used to describe Hot Air Expeditions’ ballooning experiences over the beautiful Sonoran Desert. Come and see why Phoenix, Arizona is one of the world's foremost areas for hot air ballooning!

Your journey begins with the viewing of the inflation of the balloon, where you will first get a glimpse of how large the balloons really are up close as they come to life! Upon completion of the inflation process, your pilot, your navigator through the skies, whisks you away in the basket for your approximate one-hour flight. During the breathtaking journey, you will enjoy floating at different elevations, from up to 5,000 feet in the air for a gorgeous overview of the Sonoran Desert, to within feet of the ground and the giant saguaro cacti that scatter the valley of the sun, to catch a glimpse of local wildlife, plant life, and landmarks. It is very common to see jackrabbits, quail, coyotes, and even javelinas.

Upon landing, you’ll toast to the adventure that ensued with a traditional balloonist's ceremony, complete with flutes of chilled champagne, followed by gourmet cuisine catered by the award-winning Vincent’s on Camelback Restaurant, complete with tables, linens, and china in the heart of the desert – truly, a toast to the perfect day. You're sent back to reality with a memento of your time in the sky, a commemorative flight certificate, to take home along with your memories of your time in the sky.
