"Enjoyable stay!"
July 2019
Family friendly place to stay while visiting the Williamsburg area! Lots of space for the price, and possibility to cook with the small kitchens. Walls are thin though, in case you get little ones next door like we did. Kids enjoyed the amenities, and definitely would stay again!

"Christmas Vacation"
December 2018
This was our first Christmas vacation at Powhatan Resort. We loved our cozy 2 bedroom condo. The restaurant/bar on site was amazing. We ventured out to see all the beautiful lights at Christmas Town that was near by. To top off our stay, we woke up to snow on our last day. As a mother it meant a lot to have my grown children with me for a weekend trip. This will now be a family tradition. I have already marked dates on my calendar for next year.

"Nice, but hidden costs."
June 2018
This hotel was very nice, the in-room laundry was a nice addition. Plenty of activities for the kids. They were a pushy with their time-share program. Their resort fee was more expensive than what was listed on my print out from Reserve Williamsburg.

Tip: skip the coserige table--that's where they get pushy about time shares and want all kinds of personal info. Check in was a long process.

We felt like we were in an upstairs apartment. We had a 2br 2ba unit. It was nice and clean and had everything we need. The balcony was cool but a little small. My only complaint is that it’s too dark outside at night. Hard to find your building Andy it. Also be prepared, they will try to sell you a timeshare when you visit.

Pictures on the site made the units look outdated. Ours was updated and very nice. Very disappointed that the Coffee House and restaurant were closed. Actually the only amenity open was the outside pool, but it was too cold and rainy to use it.

We had a very nice stay. Beautiful, modern, clean and spacious accommodations. Though our stay was during the COVID-19 pandemic.. My grandchildren and I were able to finally spend quality time together. Thank you to General Manager, Kevin Johnson for handling an issue I had experienced in a very friendly and quick resolve. We will return again.

My family and I made reservations at this resort for my Mom’s 60th birthday. Due to Covid, we decided to remain in-state and this seemed like a perfect idea. When making the reservations, and also when checking in I discussed my plans for a family gathering and there seem to be no issues. Until it was time for my Mom, the guest of honor and myself to arrive and we were told that we could not be let in due to a limitation on guest allowed in each suite. When calling the front desk, I was passed around from security to someone else, and finally redirected to a “manager” Amanda. Amanda was awful, lacked empathy and customer service skills. Also lied and told me that I should have received an email confirmation stating no more than 12 people are allowed in my double booked suite that had 12 people on the reservation. Which it does not! She then refused to give me an email address, or number to her boss to call to submit a complaint. So not only was the staff rude, the room suites were not properly cleaned before we were given keys. Before my family arrived I spent 2 hours disinfecting and wiping down furniture. All of the furniture had hard stains, and some of the walls also appeared to be dirty.

"Relaxing Stay, great location"

Just spend most of a week here and it was a nice stay. I would have given them 5 stars but they really need to freshen up some of the furnishings. That said everything was very clean and we felt very comfortable. The grounds are expertly maintained. If it wasn't for COVID they had some nice amenities that we could have enjoyed. They location is perfect for exploring the local area. If in the area I'd have now problem coming back.
