"Enjoyable stay!"
July 2019
Family friendly place to stay while visiting the Williamsburg area! Lots of space for the price, and possibility to cook with the small kitchens. Walls are thin though, in case you get little ones next door like we did. Kids enjoyed the amenities, and definitely would stay again!

"Christmas Vacation"
December 2018
This was our first Christmas vacation at Powhatan Resort. We loved our cozy 2 bedroom condo. The restaurant/bar on site was amazing. We ventured out to see all the beautiful lights at Christmas Town that was near by. To top off our stay, we woke up to snow on our last day. As a mother it meant a lot to have my grown children with me for a weekend trip. This will now be a family tradition. I have already marked dates on my calendar for next year.

"Nice, but hidden costs."
June 2018
This hotel was very nice, the in-room laundry was a nice addition. Plenty of activities for the kids. They were a pushy with their time-share program. Their resort fee was more expensive than what was listed on my print out from Reserve Williamsburg.

Tip: skip the coserige table--that's where they get pushy about time shares and want all kinds of personal info. Check in was a long process.

Had a reservation starting Friday ending Monday so we get there on Friday and they state we only have reservations for Sat. I took out the email confirmation that had the corret dates they sent when we first made reservations. After and hour and a half of trying to get a room we finally checked in. Already late to Busch Gardens we tried to make the most of it. Then I get a bill for resort fees, now when I called them to ask if that was something we needed to prepare for they stated that NO it was included into the price of our room deal. Needless to say we had to pay resort fees for nothing because we use nothing other than the bed to sleep. After a shortened day of events I tried to catch up on some work just to find out that the internet wasn't working. Made a call to get it resolved to no avail. They stated its beecause the resort was full and everyone was using the internet, at 11:00 really?? Sat was spent at Busch Gardens again at night trying to get work caught up, no internet yet again. I was on phone and was given intstructions on how to fix it, oh OK I pay a fee for internet that now I'm attempting to fix "I didn't realize I worked for you", but I need to get emails taken care of. Well I am not an IT person so no I didn't get it fixed. Sunday I just said what the heck lets play repeat and try again well low and behold it worked No just kidding only worked for 10 mins. Needless to say I will never stay here again not only was the trip a hassel but the staff was not the best. the only plus I would say it is easy in and out to evrything, the grounds were well kept, and the rooms were livable. Kitchen had fridge and stove. There are some people who were questionable lingering around at night but they were just there for the party in the building across from us.

Nice place, nice rooms, furniture not really comfortable. Can be a little pushy on wanting you to buy into their time share. Good amenities on site. Located close to many historical sites and many interesting things to do.

My husband I stayed overnight to attend an event nearby. Check in was busy and took a while to get through the line. We were very pleased with the suite we were given. Very clean and up to date. I understand the purpose of the activity fee we were charged to a degree but considering we were a 4pm check in and 10am check out, there was little opportunity to do any activities. Being charged $20 seems excessive for the first day of check in. And I can’t imagine how quickly it would add up if staying longer.

Nice place, very large with well kept grounds and gardens. We had an upper level two bedroom two bath unit, full kitchen that was reasonably equiped. Washer and dryer in unit, electric fire and aircon. King bed plus queen bed. Bath in one and walk-in shower in other bathroom. Unit was clean and well furnished to accommodate 6. Balcony off lounge with table and chairs. Located only a few minutes drive to colonial Williamsburg, shopping and supermarkets.

Indoor and outdoor pools, playgrounds and restaurant onsite. 15 min drive to historic Williamsburg, 1.5 hrs to Monticello. A great place to see U. S history!
