The hoverboards are the perfect platform as we explore the off the beaten path breathtaking viewpoints of east Waikiki, that are often missed on foot.

Where to?
Climb aboard your hoverboard at the ocean side of the Hilton Hawaiian Village Kahanamoku Lagoon near the outrigger canoes and beachfront food truck. Glide past a popular local surf break Ala Moana bowls, and view some of the islands finest private yachts at Hawaii's largest boat harbor. Take in the natural beauty of the 100-acre Ala Moana Beach Park riding past palm tree groves, man-made lagoons, and many different species of massive "exceptional" designated trees.

On the developed side of the park, we'll hover by the largest outdoor shopping center in the world and the many new stunning ultra luxury condo high rises. Keeping an eye open for the mega-yachts that sometimes frequent Kewalo Basin Harbor we cruise along the waterfront with an unforgettable view of Diamond Head. See stand up paddle boarders and swimmers along the 1/2 mile golden sand beach park and beautiful views of Waikiki from Magic Island.

Hover along the wide Ala Wai canal pathway under exceptional weeping fig trees past the back of the convention center. A birthday surprise for me, friends took me on this tour on our first day in Hawaii. We were lucky to just have the 4 of us. Steve was full of information, professional yet personable and an all round great guy. This was not our first time on a hover board / Segway, but it was our first ‘off road’. I would definitely recommend this as a different way of seeing and learning about Hawaii!

My family and I have taken several tours of this type in different places. The audio was excellent it made staying together and hearing what Steve was telling us so much easier than other tours like this that we had already experienced. The snacks were a welcomed break. Steve is an excellent and knowledgeable,e guide. I highly recommend this tour with this company.

Get ready folks, my review is long. My husband and I travel alot. Every country or city we visit, we do a segway tour on our first day. I feel like with a segway tour, I can covered a lot of ground in a short amount of time while getting a little history along the way. Most segway tours start out with a tutorial on how to ride, but since it was just me and my husband, we really didn’t need a long tutorial. What attracted me to this company was the hover-board title. We found the company on google so we checked it out. Its a very appealing website that offered a coupon code as well. I felt like the tour was a little pricy, but the idea of using a hover-board on top of the available days and times had us sold. Pros: Availability. The tours are offered on many days at various times which is great Very friendly guide. Steve is the owner and made our tour very personalized with the small talk etc. I enjoyed that Snacks! Yes. We stopped about 3 times during our tour and with each stop, Steve gave us a sample of Hawaiian snacks that the locals eat. Ive been on over a dozen segway tours and this was a first. Steve made sure there was restroom stops along the way. Hawaiian music. We each was given a headset where we could hear the tour guide. When the tour guide wasn’t talking, we listened to island music...my husband thought the music was a little distracting, but I enjoyed it This tour is great for beginners on the segway, Steve is a great teacher. He took a-lot of pictures! He will email them to you as well. I liked how he used his camera to snap pictures of us. Saved a-lot of time. With other tours in the past, everyone took turns pulling our their cellphone to get the tour guide to take pics. I liked that he used his camera. Cons: Theres really no huge difference to me between the “hover-board” and segway. We were able to ride on the grass a little more with the Hoover and his was a little more wider. It sparked my interest and its a good selling tactic; but don’t let that be the only reason to do the tour. Ive been able to ride in the grass a little with segways in the past. The tour was pre recorded. I felt like as a tour guide, on his end; its clever because you don’t have to remember what to say with each group. On the other hand as a customer, i felt like we were moving faster than what was recorded. So I found him, slowing us down to make his recording match our speed. I didn’t really like that When we were just listening to the island music on our headset, I still felt like we were moving slow. He was being super cautious as well. Telling us over and oiver to watch for this and that. I get it, but after a while I was tired if hearing it. I felt like I heard it more than I ever heard with any tours in the past. The tour is in Waikiki close to the beach and I really didn’t like weaving around the crowds of people. I couldn’t really focus on his voice and avoid running into people. We did the afternoon tour, maybe the morning tour would of been better for us. In our tour, it mention about going to Diamond head....well, i thought we was gonna actually go to the Mountain. Thats not the case, we rode to a spot where we was able to get a good view but don’t expect to go anywhere close to the mountain. Was a little disappointed about that. Overall, I say book the tour. I think you would enjoy it!

I must admit that before going on the hover board I was a bit nervous as to whether or not I would be able to keep it balanced and controlled out in traffic. It was awesome! Our guide was patient and very understanding of my nervousness. He was thorough in helping us understand how to control the hoverboard and kept the jittery people closest to him on our travels. I enjoyed it fully!
