Our group of four learned so much about Maui and Hawaii in general on this tour. It was a relief not to have to drive the Road to Hana. We were all able to visit with each other, other riders and really soak up all there was to see. We received a nice little sweet donuts for our breakfast snack as well as a drink. None of the people in our group purchased the lunch meal, so we were able to see bit more than we would have if they had to provide our lunch which was a bonus. I felt we were able to view as much as could be humanly possible on the road and back to our condo without being overly rushed. Of course, there were some areas that I think if we had been on our own we may have spent a little more time at. But overall, our guide gave us plenty of time to spend at the stops on our agenda. Make sure to wear your water/hiking shoes, as there are areas that they will be quite handy to have in order to climb to get excellent views of waterfalls etc. Our guide was very nice and knowledgeable of Hawaiian culture and specially Maui as she is native to the island and has many family members still living in the area. We really enjoyed our tour and would not hesitate to book it again. We had been luck when booking and found a bit of a discount with Group-on. Also, we ran into an issue with the actually booking as the road to Hana ended up being closed for the time frame that we had booked and had to reschedule. They told us if we couldn't attend when they offered, we would receive a full refund. Which I thought was excellent. However, we were able to modify other activities so that we could attend the tour on the day that was offered. We all had an excellent visit during our tour On the Road to Hana.

We were disappointed with tthis tour due to unexpected circumstances. First of all it was not anything that Moses or Jake did. They were wonderful. However we had a wreck because a lady was stopped in the middle of the road and Moses tried his best to stop, but hit her in the back. Then we finally got going after waiting on the police an hour or so. We got down the road and a pole was across the road. We had to turn around and go back the way we came. What a disappointment. We didn't even get half our stops in. I think the tour company should have offered us some compensation or another tour, but they did not.

I cannot say enough nice things about Shelly. From the moment we stepped on the bus we felt welcomed. The spirit of Aloha radiates from her. We would not have learned as much or enjoyed the trip the way we did if it were not for her. MAHALO & A hui hou.

The trip was excellent with a very knowledgeable tour guide. He was a careful driver on such a precarious road to travel on. He was on time to pick us up and arrived at ending destination with correct timing. Our lunch wrap sandwich was tasty and fresh.
