Description

from Haleo Luau
Island Breeze Productions presents Haleo each Monday and Friday evening in the incomparable oceanfront setting at Sheraton Keauhou Bay's Bay View Lawn.

Haleo, the “voice of life,” celebrates the history of Keauhou and the heart of those who came from this land. The talented dancers and musicians of Island Breeze Productions invite you to join them on a journey to the past and experience a special time in Hawaiian history.

Held on the oceanfront of the Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa, this luau brings you back to a time that is remembered and cherished. From the birth of Kamehameha III to surfing tales of He’eia Bay to the battle of Kuamo’o, performers share the stories of ancient Hawaii through language, culture, music, and dance. Keauhou translated into English means “new era.” The area is significant for being the playground of Hawaii’s royalty, ali’i.

Meet the dancers before the show and “talk story.” Enjoy live dinner music under the Hala trees on the southern shores of Keauhou Bay and indulge in a Hawaiian feast that’s so unique it can only be found in paradise.

"Haleo Luau"

Every Luau says they are the best. I read reviews on them all and decided on the Luau at the Sheraton Resort in Kona since we were staying there and the reviews were great! Not disappointed. My 2 daughters weren't too excited when I told them we were going to a luau but quickly changed their minds once we got there. Hawaii weather was great, food was fantastic, setting was great and the entertainment was a 10+. A must to see when you are on the Big Island.

Tip: Bring your appetite there are so many choices. The pulled pork from the pig roasted all day was the best that I have ever eaten!!!
