"Greatly disappointed in staff, and cleanliness."
October 2018
I visited for my birthday. Upon arrival to the cafe I informed the cashier it was my birthday. She said I would get a slice of birthday cake from waitress. That never happened. In fact my waitress was very rude like she did not want to bring drinks so i went and got my own drink. She never introduced herself to me, however she did talk to my boyfriend. Then she sneaks to my table to talk to my boyfriend every time I left the table. She was an African American lady with big hair. He said she told him her name was Frieda. She actually rolled her eyes at me the second time we went to the cafe.
Then the room is a different soory. Every nice at first look. Bit when I take a bath I see hair and mildew on the wall. Hair and Dundee on the toilet base. Mildew inside the toilet. Mildew under the sink faucet. Dust on micro morrow, headboard, lamp shade..ect
I call to complain and 2men and 2 ladies show up that don't speak English. I was just too out done. I asked the for supplies to clean the room myself. They refused, so I showed the deficiencies to the housekeepers and left the room. When i returned the only difference was she removed the hair off the wall. Mildew, mold , dust and all were still present. I have up at this point and went and bought my own cleaning supplies.

"great value for money; great stay!"

There may be a few rough edges in the hotel rooms, but most of us could look around our own homes and find a bit of dirt or few places where touch-ups are needed. So, I looked past that to the wonderful pools, spas and facilities, and the excellent service I got at this hotel. My experience: The front-desk staff bent over backwards to be helpful and ensure a great stay. The breakfast buffet was very fresh with good, friendly service. Housekeeping staff members were exceptionally courteous (and did a great job cleaning my room!). ... ... As far as I am concerned, the hotel offered tremendous VALUE for my money and I had a great stay!

Teresa ( front desk supervisor) first couldn’t find our reservation- then gave us a room that was already occupied. We came back to tell her and she was too concerned about lowering the lights for a bar patron tgen the 7 people in line to check in. When asked she said she didn’t want to be there anyway. We finally got another room and one of the beds has been laid in- covers messed up. This resort is terrible and scary

"The place to be for mold!!!"

First off we booked this hotel on Priceline and their description said nothing of paid parking! So beware $15 per day.. now we checked in, which was painless, but then it all began. We were given a room in the 2000 building on the 6th floor. As soon as we stepped foot off the elevator the MOLD began. No air conditioning on the 6th floor like on 1st floor and you could smell the mold!!! Omg it was terrible. We went to our room thinking maybe it’s just in the hall! Nope.. the room was worse, the smell was terrible. We had to kick the air down to 65 to keep air circulating just to avoid some of the smell. It was the worst 3 nights ever spent in a hotel. Wouldn’t of been so bad if the mold wasn’t there. One other thing the shower would leak through the wall onto the carpet outside the bathroom door. We read previous reviews about the mold and said well maybe it will be ok. But should of listened to others. Maybe the others stayed in building 2 on the 6th floor!! What’s funny the hotel has the nerve to charge a “resort” fee! Guess you are paying for the MOLD! Will never stay at this hotel again.. also hotel owned by Marriott! Seriously? Cheating and inspect your properties..

Not a good stay. First two nights drunks are running up and down the hallway in the middle of the night, moved to another room and this one had 10% of the shower in black mold. Talked with management about someone just cleaning it up and not done in 3 days. Not going back

"Good visit and good value overall!"

I don't know why others may review this property poorly.... I had a great stay....Again!! My recent visit was with my in-laws and my kids. My mother-in-law is particular about hotels and is not very mobile, so a quality property and easy access are essential to us when we travel. We checked into our rooms but due to a little issue w my in-laws, we had to change to other rooms. We were so surprised that the manager herself, would be glad to personally assist us in the move. We had to move to a lower floor because of limited mobility and Betty the manager not only took us personally to see the new rooms, she ensured the bellman would be along to help us all out!! The new rooms were just fine and the rest of our stay was fantastic. We will return and recommend this property to anyone. Great staff throughout the property but Betty should be commended for going above and beyond to help us out. See you again in June!!
