Guided by a mission to inspire a more conscious world through the power of photography, Fotografiska produces an entire museum of dynamic and unparalleled rotating exhibitions spanning various photographic genres in inclusive and immersive environments.

The vibrant atmosphere at Fotografiska is unlike any other New York museum– it is open late every night, music is playing on all floors (nobody is shushed here), and guests enjoy sipping drinks from coffee to cocktails anywhere in the museum, including exhibition floors.

Adding to the experience, guests may choose to participate in one of the many unique programming events at the museum, like live performances, talks with artists, concerts, films, sound bath meditations, and much more. Also, The Shop is a popular neighborhood retail store with a curated selection of local merchandise and exceptional international gifts inspired by the art of photography and contemporary trends.

Initially established in Stockholm in 2010, Fotografiska New York opened in December 2019 and is the museum’s newest outpost. It is located in a six-floor, historic 1892 landmark building in New York City’s Flatiron District at Park Avenue and 22nd Street.

With a dedicated international community and locations in Stockholm, New York City, Tallinn, and Berlin soon, Fotografiska is the premier global gathering place for photography and culture.

The walls aren’t white. The guests aren’t quiet. And, you don’t need an art degree to find something you love. So have fun, stay late, get deep and spill your drink.
