This hotel is really nice. We stayed two nights just for a little get away weekend needing some fun and a break. We had a private balcony and fireplace. The pool and hot tub are amazing. Also it's just a few minutes walk from the main strip. We ate, shopped, and had a great time. The hotel staff was so nice and personable. We will be staying here again for certain.

We just got home from our stay at Edgewater. It was our 36th wedding anniversary. From the time we checked in till we checked out everything was perfect. When we got in our room the hotel had remembered that it was our anniversary. I had told them months before when I booked our room and the staff had remembered and left us 2 beautiful glass wine glasses and a Happy Anniversary Card on the table. Such a wonderful and thoughtful surprise. Our room was perfect. Our balcony overlooked the river and bed and pillows was very comfortable. The hotel is spotless and the staff is so nice and friendly. We will definitely be returning soon. In fact I’m already booked for October. I highly recommend staying here when in the area. You can leave your car parked and walk all over Gatlinburg or sit on your balcony and just people watch.

"Decent Hotel in a Great Location!"

The Edgewater Hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and the location was amazing. Other than that the hotel was just okay. The elevators are slow and way too many people were packing into them. The pool was very crowded until well past dark and our room overlooked the pool and it was a bit loud after a day full of traveling. The breakfast was mediocre. The parking is sketchy and late in the evenings was at capacity making it very difficult to park my midsize SUV. I feel as though the good outweighed the bad but I will say I was not overly impressed. Also, I received an email stating that the rooms had been remodeled and that the mattresses were new, but they were not very comfortable and sort of lumpy? I was expecting a sightly higher quality but once again, didn't hate it!

I have stayed here many times through the years and have enjoyed it every time. We just got home from a 3 night stay there and were pleased by many things. I love the location and the view from the breakfast area is peaceful and beautiful. I thought the breakfast was great for a hotel and the lady working the breakfast room this last weekend was super friendly and my little girl loved talking to her. The desk staff was fantastic especially the African American lady that worked the mornings. My little girl is a talker and she was very patient and very friendly. Def have great staff. The rooms were also clean and tidy. My only complaints are the elevators and pool noise. We were on the 8th floor and waited 15 min sometimes for an elevator. With a toddler it was too many to walk down the stairs. Also the pool Friday and Saturday was out of control. I couldn’t take my little one because of the rowdiness and even had to call and complain at 11 Saturday night since our room overlooked the pool and the noise was insane. I will never stay over the pool the again and def request creek side.

We stayed here for a dance competition. It was nice being close to everything but the traffic to get out of the strip was awful. It would take a horrible while to get in and out of the hotel- if you were there during the week it may not be too bad. As far as the hotel, it’s pretty basic accommodations. The beds were comfortable and it was fairly clean. Fridge and microwave in the room which is great for leftovers! The bathroom was TINY. The breakfast was very average but nice to save money there and avoid one meal.
