This hotel is really nice. We stayed two nights just for a little get away weekend needing some fun and a break. We had a private balcony and fireplace. The pool and hot tub are amazing. Also it's just a few minutes walk from the main strip. We ate, shopped, and had a great time. The hotel staff was so nice and personable. We will be staying here again for certain.

Was there in October, booked a handicapped room, pictures show the room has a non tub, shower, since it was handicapped, nope, it had a tiny hard to get in to tub. Room 826. The hotel said it was remodeled, recently, this room sure didn't look like it. The wifi was horrible, and non existant most of the time. Parking was horrible. Won't be back.

We have stayed here multiple times over the years. Best location there is, within walking distance to everything Gatlinburg has to offer. Great friendly staff, best rewards program ever. Now the bad-worst elevators in history and the only thing worse is the parking situation. Extremely small and limited spaces. Average but dated room with comfortable beds. We will probably continue to stay here as the goods still out way the bass.

"Great Location, Clean and comfortable, Polite employees..."

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights in October. Our room was clean and updated and the beds were comfortable. The location was on a lovely river and within walking distance from everything on the strip. A continental breakfast was available at no additional charge, and although I'm not usually one who eats breakfast, the "make your own waffles" were quite tasty! I would also like to mention the staff was pleasant and helpful. There were only 2 areas of complaint. The parking garage was small and crowded and difficult to park, and the toilet in our room was VERY low and felt loose. Overall though, we were pleased with our stay and will probably stay again in the future.

The only two upsides to this hotel was they had comfortable beds and it was next to the strip. Besides that: parking was absolutely horrible, if you drive anything bigger than a compact car, good luck. They served the same thing everyday for breakfast: biscuits & gravy, sausage, eggs, cereal, and toast. We were there for 3 days, it never once changed. Elevators are ridiculously slow and the hallway to our room smelled like cat piss.

"Ok place to stay downtown"

Stayed recently for a very short trip to G-burg. The property is in a great location for being able to walk around town. In the hotels defense, it is old and there isn't much you can do about the tight parking garage or the fact that there are only 2 elevators and when it's busy they are so slow that if we were going down, we took the stairs a few times. For that reason I cannot and will not "slam them" for that as other reviewers have. I knew this about the place going into it and even got an email stating that information before we arrived. The rooms are old, even updated you can see that. BUT it was clean and it was comfortable enough for a short stay and I care more about clean than age. All that said, I do have some comments. None of which ruined my stay in any way because I wasn't there to hang out in the hotel. 1) The coffee packets in the room are terrible. There is barely enough coffee in them to make 1 or 2 decent cups let alone a 4 cup pot. They need to get either better coffee packets or provide 2 with a notation that both need used to make a pot. You could read a newspaper through it, it was that weak so it went down the drain. I like to drink coffee while I get ready. that didn't happen last weekend. I ended up having to go downstairs to get a decent cup. it's worth noting that the 2nd morning I realized that none of the coffee, sugars, etc were replenished. Not that I would have used it but it was noticed.. 2) If I stay in a cheap hotel/motel I don't expect anything except a bar of soap in my room. BUT for what we spent to stay here I was surprised to see they provide small bars of soap and lotion, but no shampoo. I generally only bring shampoo if I know we are staying somewhere cheap. Thankfully we had some packed otherwise I would have been less than thrilled to have to go back out and find a drug store to buy shampoo. 3) The breakfast was not great. I don't expect much from "free" breakfasts but I have had much better eggs, sausage and gravy in much cheaper hotels. It was disappointing and I ate just enough to have something in my stomach to take medication until we could get somewhere else. While I would recommend this hotel for convenience downtown, they really need to fix some of these things that are fixable (IE coffee in the rooms, providing shampoo and a better grade of foods for breakfast).. I can't hold the garage and elevator against them since that is not something that is even fixable at this point. However, if I was staying longer than 1 or 2 nights I would probably look elsewhere
