Dollywood is a Pigeon Forge vacation must! The park offers plenty to do for all ages. Plan on lots of walking. Make sure to get a park map and show schedule when you arrive. When you're thirsty, ask for a cup of water at any food stand. It's free!

Even if rain is in the forecast, go to Dollywood. You’ll experience shorter wait times, fewer crowds, and more chances to ride your favorite coaster or ride over and over again. We walked right onto Tennessee Tornado, Wild Eagle, and Mystery Mine!

"Greed that ruins the experience"
January 2024
While I loved the decorations and the chapel Christmas carol,I missed on riding any of rides because of outrageous lines that take one an 1/2 hours to ride one ride.I won't never go back to a place where they sell thousands of tickets and disregard people's experience standing in lines even to get a snack. The only thing I bought there was a slice of pizza and hot chocolate which isn't a typical southern food that I wanted to try but I won't never stand in a line to get some food for over an hour,so never again.

Tip: Prepare to stand in lines for every thing and better bring your snack and food.

"Too crowded to enjoy"
November 2023
We bought 9 advance tickets and were unable to use 3 of them because part of our family couldn't arrive until later on the scheduled day. They were turned away because the parking lot was full. Because we were only in Gatlinburg for a few days and it rained 2 of them, we were unable to try again. The family who made it into Dollywood were unable to do much because of the crowd. Ride lines were 1 1/2 hours and the show lines weren't much better. We bought the $39 food pass and it was a waste because some of the stands ran out of food.

"Tipster was so helpful"

When spending a lot of money visiting an area for the first time, it's great to have an option like tipster to help save money to make memories and have an experience for the family.

Tip: Be sure to read the restrictions and the process for tickets. We had wanted to use Tipster to save for Anakeesta as well as Dollywood, however Tipster made it clear that Anakeesta would require paper tickets and not scanned by phone. It would have been so much better price wise to go through Tipster but only if we could print the tickets. It was clear and allowed us not to purchase and have an issue at the location due to their disclosure which we appreciate

"Amazing theme park!"
September 2023
My wife and I came on Labor Day and splurged for the medium value fast passes, which made the day so much more enjoyable to avoid wait times. But, from what we could tell the wait times were never really that bad for non-fast pass holders and wasn't more than 10-15 min on rides that didn't take the pass. There's a lot of unique shops and live music all through the park.

"Height Restrictions"

No where does it say might want to avoid if you are taller than 6 ft 5 in tall. Because you won’t fit on the the rides. And won’t be refunded your money back.

"Beautiful & Fun with Great Food!"
June 2023
My family loves roller coasters and Dollywood delivered on lots of different types of them. We went on a somewhat rainy Thursday in June and we were able to ride everything we wanted to multiple times with minimal waits. Lightning Rod was the only thing we waited for more than 15 minutes. The theme park is so pretty. - both the surrounding area and the design of the park itself. All of the food was delicious too!
