Dollywood is a Pigeon Forge vacation must! The park offers plenty to do for all ages. Plan on lots of walking. Make sure to get a park map and show schedule when you arrive. When you're thirsty, ask for a cup of water at any food stand. It's free!

Even if rain is in the forecast, go to Dollywood. You’ll experience shorter wait times, fewer crowds, and more chances to ride your favorite coaster or ride over and over again. We walked right onto Tennessee Tornado, Wild Eagle, and Mystery Mine!

    "Great fun!"
    January 2020
We were able to visit near the end of the season and we had a great time. It wasn't overly crowded and we didn't have to wait long to ride the rides we wanted to. The Christmas lights and decor were amazing. The staff was extremely helpful. It's been years since my last visit to Dollywood and it was a great time. I will definitely be back in the near future with the entire family.

This review is from a person that is not a fan of Amusement Parks. However I am a fan of Dolly and wanted to visit Dollywood while in TN.
The park is great, family friendly, low key , not overpriced, clean and there is something for everyone. I would high recommend visiting. If you visit make sure to try the loaf of Cinnamon beard ! It is AMAZING.

I expected to have a good time, but I was unprepared for the glorious day. For one thing we went in October, not realizing it was gospel month. We got to hear the most marvelous gospel music mini concerts. My only regret is that we didn't realize in time to plan on staying a couple of days to take advantage of the park. One day is just not enough time to take it all in. Then we could have done a few of the other wonderful sights in Pigeon Forge!! And I really wish TripAdvisor would give another choice for the sort of visit because we were a large group of family that were all adults! No children or teens were with us that day.
