Make time for character meet and greets. These are some of the most memorable experiences at Disney World. You can reserve them as a FastPass+ pick too, which means less waiting and more time for fun!

Visiting Disney Theme Parks is a dream come true. My new favorite attraction is Flight of Passage at Pandora: The World of Avatar at Animal Kingdom. Be sure to get a FastPass+, though, as everyone else loves it too. It is a magical and an out of this world experience. And night time gets even better with amazing light shows and effects!

I was so excited to bring my 3 kids to disney world! It was magical when i was younger.. but 2 hours into disney and i already hated it this time. We did animal kingdom. Magic kingdom. Holly wood studios and epcot.. you have to start booking fast passes a YEAR in advance otherwise they are all taken . That was the case for us. We didnt get the tickets until a month before hand and all the fast passes were taken. Lines were terrible. Rides always breaking. And they FINGERPRINT you each time you enter the park.

July 2019 NEW
We drove from Knoxville to Disney World for 18 hours.
Once we arrived at Walt Disney World, it was worth the wait.
My two sons, wanted to go straight into Disney World Theme Park before checking into our Hotel Resort.
Disney World was miles of fun and entertainment.
The food and the rides was just above and beyond what we ever expected.
The line was super long, but we met some amazing people from all around the world while waiting.

Avoid when schools are out on vacation, it is too busy. If you can afford the Disney experience with a private guided tour, is the best way to experience, the tour is very "pricy" but 10 people can be in it. You will have a 5 Star experience.

I was waking with my daughter when I felt something pushing my back. I turned around and saw a cast member walking with WINNIE the Pooh. They wanted everyone to move away to give way to WINNIE. Well, I understand that Disney characters are special but pushing away people from the back ? We did not even know that WINNIE was behind us. I hate WINNIE the Pooh ever since. in general, the attitude of the cast members are horrible. They are very bossy and arrogant. No customer service at all. Everywhere is a mess and everything is very disorganized. Chaos.. chaos.. chaos.. The water at Kali River rapids is not clean. My kids get rash all over their body after riding Kali. Bad food, bad hygiene and overpriced. And people pushing people..From parking, getting into the tram, getting into the attraction line, everywhere is chaotic and like competition. I am glad it is over .. and

Details, details, details! Disney pays attention to every detail at every attraction, park, and hotel. I can ride the same attraction multiple times, and I always notice new and different details. The cast members are always helpful and friendly. Best vacation for the money. I recommend staying in WDW and using their various modes of transportation to get you from park to park.

We have been visiting Walt Disney World for over 30 years. More recently we've become passholders, as we now only live an hour away. Disney is one of our favorite places to visit for attractions, shows, dining and an overall good time with our children, extended family and friends. The park is usually very clean, the Cast Members are very friendly - expect top notch service on a daily basis for the most part. A lot of new construction has been taking place at the parks, despite that, most of the rides and walkways remain open and clear without being a nuisance. Our only gripe is the recent, very frequent cost increases, especially for things that were previously included. Extra Magic hours were a bonus for loyal customers that stayed on property and now it is being turned into "Disney after Dark" with a hefty price tag attached, as well as the increase in parking at the resorts. I'm afraid if this trend continues they will price out the average American family while offering higher discounts to foreigners. All in all, Disney remains to be one of our favorite places to make memories with our family and friends. We hope to continue the tradition for as a long as possible.

First time to visit in June, weather was scorching and lots of rain but Disney handled all of it well. Disney transportation was great, looks like they are building some sort of gondola system also. Well worth staying on resort, not a stress in the world once we were on property.

Frequently Asked Questions about Disney World® Theme Parks

What is Disney FastPass+ service and how does it work?Disney FastPass+ service allows you to reserve access to select Walt Disney World® attractions, entertainment and character greeting in advance. There is no additional cost to use the Disney FastPass+ service and it is included with your theme park admission.

How does My Disney Experience work after I purchase my tickets?
You will be provided a My Disney Experience linking code immediately upon reservation. It will be listed on your E-Tickets.

Once you have your linking code and it is 30 days prior to your trip, visit the website at StartYourDisneyExperience.com or use the My Disney Experience mobile app to create an account and link your park admission to unlock the benefits of FastPass+ planning.

If you are a Walt Disney World® Resort guest, you can take advantage of receiving your Disney FastPass+ linking code within 60 days prior to your arrival. Again, the 60-day feature is only available for guests staying on a Disney Resort property.

How many FastPass+ selections can I make for each day of my ticket?
You can make up to 3 FastPass+ selections for a single park per day (depending on availability). At the park, once you redeem your initial set of FastPass+ selections, you can make another FastPass+ selection for the same day at an in-park kiosk or using your mobile device, up to park closing. If your ticket includes a Park Hopper® Option, after you use your initial FastPass+ selections at the first park, you'll be able to make additional FastPass+ selections (one at a time) at the second park you visit that day, up to park closing. Just visit a kiosk or using your mobile device to make additional selections.

Is the Disney FastPass+ service like a restaurant reservation? Do I have to show up at a specific time for an attraction?
No, it's better! You are assigned an arrival window - usually one hour long - for each attraction you select. Show up any time that you wish during this window. When you are ready to visit the attraction within your window, go to the FastPass+ entrance and touch your MagicBand or card to the touch point.

What is a MagicBand?
Your MagicBand allows you to enter the parks, unlock your Walt Disney World® Resort hotel room and buy food and merchandise. Plus, your MagicBand gives you FastPass+ access to all the experiences you've selected online. The MagicBand is not required but is a magical way to experience your visit.

How can I get a MagicBand?
MagicBands are available to guests staying at Walt Disney World® Resort hotels at no additional cost. If you are not staying onsite, you can purchase a MagicBand online at the DisneyStore.com or select Walt Disney World® retail locations. MagicBands start at $14.99 plus tax at Walt Disney World® Resort theme parks and Disney Springs area. However, you will receive a MagicBand at no extra cost if you stay at any of the Walt Disney World® Resort hotels and can be arranged on your StartYourDisneyExperience account.

How do I use the MagicBand or card when I have a FastPass+ arrival time at an attraction or entertainment experience?
When you arrive during your scheduled FastPass+ arrival time, all you need to do is proceed to the FastPass+ queue entrance and touch your MagicBand or card to a sensor called a touch point. Please remember that each member of your party will have to individually touch their MagicBand or card to the touch point for entrance.

Are special ticketed events included with my admission ticket?
No, special event tickets such as Mickey's Very Merry Christmas, Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and any other special ticket that permits admission for only part of the day is not included. A special event ticket can only be purchased through Walt Disney World® Resort directly.

Can a Disney Dining Plan be added on to my Walt Disney World® Resort reservation?
No. A Disney Dining Plan cannot be added to your reservation when purchased through our website. If you wish to purchase a Disney Dining Plan, that must be done through Walt Disney World® Resort directly at least 72 hours prior to your scheduled arrival date. Disney Dining Plans cannot be adjusted or added to your Disney Resort reservation upon arrival to the property.

What is included with the Disney Park Hopper Plus option?
The Disney Park Hopper Plus option provides admission to one or more of the four Walt Disney World® Resort theme parks for each day of your ticket (Magic Kingdom®, Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park, Epcot® and Disney's Hollywood Studios®), plus additional admissions to these other attractions: Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, Disney's ESPN Wide World of Sports complex, one round at Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course - greens fee only, one round of miniature golf at Disney's Fantasia Gardens Miniature golf course or one round of miniature golf at Disney's Winter Summerland Golf Course.

The additional admissions you receive are as follows:

If you would like to visit more than one park per day, you will need to purchase a ticket with park hopper option.

Is there an expiration date on the tickets that I am ordering?
Walt Disney World® Resort theme park tickets purchased after October 28, 2018, are valid for admission beginning on the selected start date and must be used within the valid use period provided at the time of purchase. Here are the details:

  • 1-day – The ticket expires on the selected start date.
  • 2-day – The ticket expires 4 days after the selected start date.
  • 3-day – The ticket expires 5 days after the selected start date.
  • 4-day – The ticket expires 7 days after the selected start date.

  • 10-day – The ticket expires 14 days after the selected start date.

These expiration dates also apply to Florida Resident Tickets.

Add one extra day of use if Park Hopper® Plus option selected.

For example, a 6-day base ticket with a start date of November 1 is valid any 6 days from November 1 to November 9.

Selection of the Park Hopper® Option for same-day admission to more than one theme park is subject to the validity windows listed above.

Selection of the Park Hopper® Plus Option to include visits to Disney water parks and other attractions—along with same-day admission to more than one theme park— adds another day to your valid use period. For example, a 6-day Park Hopper® Plus Option ticket with a start date of November 1 is valid any 6 days from November 1 to November 10.

If you purchased tickets before October 28, 2018, your theme park tickets may be used on different dates depending on the type of ticket.

What is the best way to dress for a day at the parks? Is there any clothing that isn't permissible?

The parks are a casual, family-oriented environment. We suggest you dress comfortably, wear good walking shoes and check the local weather report before you leave for the parks.
Ensuring that the parks are family friendly is an important part of the Walt Disney World® Resort experience. In that spirit, we ask you to use your discretion and common sense.

Are tickets transferable? Can I give them to someone else to use the remaining days?
Please note that all Theme Park Tickets are nontransferable and must be used by the same person on any and all days. The person who uses the ticket for the very first time must use the ticket for its entirety. Any tickets that are transferred are in violation of this restriction and are invalid for admission.

Are there any personal items guests should not bring into the theme parks?
All bags and purses are inspected prior to guests entering the theme parks. Guests are not allowed to bring wagons, skateboards, scooters, in-line skates, shoes with built-in wheels, two-wheeled or three-wheeled conveyances, strollers larger than 31" (79cm) wide and 52" (132cm) long, wagons, stroller wagons, alcoholic beverages, weapons, folding chairs, glass containers (excluding baby food jars and perfume bottles,) suitcases and pets (unless they are service animals.)

How much does it cost to park at Walt Disney World® Resort in Orlando?
When driving to Walt Disney World resort and visiting the Magic Kingdom®, Epcot®, Disney's Hollywood Studios® or Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park, you can expect to pay the following parking fees:
  • Preferred parking: Car or Motorcycle – $45 per day
  • Standard parking: Car or Motorcycle – $22 per day
  • Oversized Vehicle Parking: Shuttle, Limo, Camper Trailer, RV, Bus or Tractor Trailer - $27 per day

Guests pay the parking fee per day to receive a parking pass good for all of the parks. If you purchased a Park Hopper® ticket and plan on driving yourself, save the parking receipt and present it at the other parking lot entrance. With the exception of the Magic Kingdom®, all of the parking is outside the main entrance to the theme park. At the Magic Kingdom®, the lot is located at the Ticket and Transportation Center. Once you park here, you will need to take either the Monorail or the Ferry to the Magic Kingdom®.

Are wheelchairs and strollers available?
Yes. Wheelchair and stroller rentals are available at the entrance to each park on a daily use basis. Wheelchairs are $12 and ECVs are $50 per day. Wheelchairs require a refundable $100 deposit and proof of photo ID. ECVs require a $20 refundable deposit and proof of photo ID.

Also, be sure to watch for special stroller parking areas outside some shows and attractions inside the parks. Some rides and attractions may require a transfer from a wheelchair into an attraction seat, and those rides will be noted on the park maps available at the entrance to each park.

How much does it cost to rent a stroller?
It will cost you $15.00 per day to rent a "single" stroller and $31.00 per day to rent a "double" stroller. If you're going to need a stroller for more than one day you can rent them at the "multi-day" rate of $13.00 per day for a "single" and $27.00 per day for a "double". Strollers require a $100 credit card deposit and proof of photo ID prior to renting.

Can I bring my own stroller?
Yes, however it must be no larger than 31" (79cm) wide and 52" (132cm) long. The smaller your stroller, the easier it is to navigate and maneuver the parks.

Are Walt Disney World® Resort theme park maps available?
Yes. Maps are available at the respective parks, hotels, and lodging within Walt Disney World® Resort. The maps provide an overview of the resort or you can view individual theme parks, water parks, hotels, golf courses, and shopping, dining, and entertainment areas.

Is there an additional charge for shows and attractions inside the park?
As a general rule, no. All regularly scheduled shows and attractions are included in your Walt Disney World® ticket price, although some shows may have limited capacity.

If I purchase the Park Hopper® Plus Ticket, where do I exchange my E-Ticket at?
Park Hopper® Plus Tickets can be validated at any Walt Disney World® Theme Park (Magic Kingdom®, Epcot®, Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park, Disney's Hollywood Studios®) or at any water park or golf course. These include:

Re-usable ice packs are recommended instead. Complimentary cups of ice are available at Food & Beverage locations inside the parks if needed.

Are coolers permitted at Walt Disney World® Water Parks (Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park & Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park)?
Coolers are permitted, including those with wheels, although no cooler storage is available.

Why do my Walt Disney World® Resort E-Tickets only have one name listed on them?
The name on the E-Ticket is the primary ticket holder but the tickets are valid for everyone in your party.

Is smoking allowed in the theme parks?
No. Beginning May 1, 2019, smoking areas will no longer be present inside Walt Disney World® theme parks, water parks, or the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

Designated smoking areas are available outside the entrances to the areas listed above and at Disney Springs. For guests who have room or dining reservations, smoking areas are also available at Disney Resort hotels.
