"Unique Dining Experience"
December 2019
We attended the Christmas show at the Stampede. The live nativity was beautiful! There isn't a bad seat in the house. The show was the perfect combination of singing, animals and food. The horses and their riders were amazing. We also enjoyed the pig and pony races. The food was very good- especially the chicken and the cream of vegetable soup! This was a very enjoyable night out while on vacation with my family.

We skipped the preshow because we have 2 kids under 4. You’re seated stadium style which was perfect for kids to see the show. It was fast paced show keeping them interested with music and animals. We aren’t country music fans but this was entertaining. Server was great! Food great for adults but not my kids we fed them before we got there. They asked my 4 year old to go down and chase chickens he got a medal and Dolly’s book coat of many colors! Great family fun!

"Just Terrible"

I saw the Christmas show with family. I don't understand why people choose to see this garbage, I really don't. There was lip syncing to cheesy music. (I love Dolly Parton and was expecting a showcase of her wonderful music.) There were crowds of people shoved through the venue on a tight schedule. There was "comic relief" that was so terrible it made my brain hurt. There was incredibly bad food plopped onto our plastic plates. There were two redeeming qualities--friendly wait staff who worked their tails off and cool trick riding. However, the riding lasted for maybe ten minutes of the three hours of torture, and it meant trying to eat dinner in a venue that smelled like a barn. I'm sad that Dolly's name is attached to this nonsense.

Where do I even start. My husband and I are SO not dinner show people. He also doesn't really like country or bluegrass, though he will tolerate it. But, we wanted to try something different this time. We both love horses, so Stampede was suggested. It was so much better than we imagined it could be! From the pre-show to the actual event, it was amazing and kept us engaged! The food was VERY generous portion (um, hello whole rotisserie chicken...) and actually really tasty for what it was. Our server Michelle was super sweet and managed the crowd and drink refills great. The horses were all well cared for and had an amazing relationship with their handlers, which was super important to us. All in all, even my not-so-fond of country husband has agreed we'll definitely go again!

Clean, wholesome and family friendly! Great show for anyone at any age. If you love horses? This would be a great show. If you love the smell of leather and dirt? Wonderful show. If you just love a show without strong language? You will love this. BTW! The food? Great too!
