"Wouldn’t Recommend"
March 2019
The room wasn’t terrible but I don’t recommend it. No fridge or microwave. Barely any hot water in the shower. Our room was never cleaned and we were there for 4 days. My husband found a supply closet and restocked our coffee and toilet paper. All calls to front desk went unanswered. I walked down there and spoke with a girl who said she’d follow up with a manager about my issues, never heard back. I went down to speak with a manager the next day about my room and was told there were “no notes on the account” so they couldn’t do anything? I paid over $600 to reserve direct when I could’ve spent $40 a night at a motel 6. I won’t stay there again.
Pool was okay. Sign says they are open til 10- but made everyone leave at 8pm??

"Fun trip!"
March 2019
We stayed at Castle Rock Resort during spring break. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. Our kids enjoyed the waterpark and had a lot of fun. We stayed in the Atrium rooms and they were very dated. Overall, we had an enjoyable visit.

"Water Park closed without warning"
August 2018
We have stayed here in the past and we were very happy with the room and water park, however, this time we stayed 2 nights and the room wasn't cleaned and the water park closed at 3pm the second day. We were unaware this was going to happen, I wouldn't have booked the extra night. We were looking forward to spending the rest of the afternoon and evening in the waterpark but only had 15 minutes. Very disappointed. The resort did nothing to make it better. We ended up going to another resort to play in their water park.

"LOTS OF FUN!!!"
August 2018
I don’t know where to start because it was that fun! Staff were friendly and caring to our needs. The water park was way better than expected! I was not expecting that much fun. They have many life guards available that walk around to make sure everyone stays safe and life jackets are available for your littles. I had a great time and will definitely be choosing this as our choice of stay each year

"I liked this place"
July 2018
I really liked Castle Rock, room was clean and quiet, I didn't hear anyone around us which is always a big issue for me. The water park was great for our 3 and 7 y/o grand kids. Check in took about 5 minutes no line to wait in. The location is great too, it is a block off the main drag on the yellow route, you can go anywhere without getting stuck on Hwy 76. I am pretty picky and hard to impress but I liked this place.

"Family Vacation"
July 2018
Hotel itself wasn’t very upscale. Had a lot of flies and nets. The walls and carpet had stains.

The pool experience was okay, kids really enjoyed swimming.

"Fun Waterpark Horrible hotel"

I generally do alot of research on places we stay. This time I focused in on the Waterpark for my toddler and didn't look much else when I seen general pictures of the facility and the rooms in the tower it all seemed pretty nice. I unfortunately was not staying in the main building. This facility bought a adjecent hotel at some point that was super low end and just added to there rooms. The TV screen ratio was messed up so you couldn't even read the guide. There was litterly poop stains all around our toilet upon arrival, the house keeping doesn't come around till around 3. The beds are the absolute worst beds I have ever felt in a hotel. They are worse quality mattresses then 100 dollar kids spring mattresses. I couldn't even find a mattress tag to take a picture of what they where. But I can promise these are bargain bin mattresses not hotel quality at all. They don't have microwaves in them, my room did have a mini fridge but you had to lift the front of the fridge up to open the door. The good: Waterpark was fun, lifeguard staff where great and took their job very serious, if you have kids that don't obey rules they will constantly be on you but they really want everyone to be safe and for as many kids and adults swimming everyone was safe and I never seen anyone get hurt. And I think at Al times and see at least 4 staff members watching and keeping everyone safe. With a toddler I appreciate that. I don't think I could stay here again due to how uncomfortable these rooms are, grand country will get our business next time. But it's a shame cause we did enjoy the Waterpark side.

"Great place as long as you don't mind finding your own toilet paper"

We had 23 people gathering for a family reunion, multiple rooms were booked and paid in advance for our three night stay (Dec 26-28 2019). Arrival was chaos and a lobby full of frustration as the hotel manager said that the house keeping staff all walked out. All the rooms were booked for the night-- and very few had been cleaned. After waiting an hour, we tried again to check in at 6 pm. And again at 8 pm. Finally at 10 pm all of our rooms were ready. Through this , the front desk staff were friendly , despite being obviously overwhelmed. We were able to use the water park while we waited, which we were thankful for. During our three night stay, none of the rooms were actually cleaned or vacuumed or checked over. Instead we would find a cart and get toilet paper, towels and soap from whoever was trying to be the damage control for the day. It was usually the hotel mechanic who was pitching in. It was clear that the workers who were at the hotel were doing the best they could and and were working hard and keeping a positive attitude-- which was amazing. The hotel rooms aren't in great shape. They weren't dirty, just in need of a remodel. Especially the bathroom where the ceiling had damage and the door knob was falling off. The shower faucet was about to fall out of the wall. But the water was hot at least. The hotel restaurant is not a place you want to try out, unless you are patient and don't like to eat much. They were out of breakfast before the end time. Other guests were complaining that they didn't get the food they ordered. Door Dash worked for us. The water park was the highlight of our stay. It was a fun place for all the kids, 16 total to play. There was plenty for them to do, from the toddlers to the teens. The lifeguards are WONDERFUL. Most were friendly and all were very attentive to the swimmers. We really appreciated them when one of the kids hit her head in the pool and gashed it open. They called EMS before she was to the first aid room. Took great care of her and treated her extremely well. All in all, this is a fun place to be if you can get a room and don't mind finding your own toilet paper.

"Disgusting hotel!"

This is the worst hotel I’ve stayed at in Branson. We booked two rooms with queen beds, refrigerator, and a microwave. When we walked into the room it was filthy and run down. No refrigerator, no microwave and terrible wi-fi. The bathroom looked like it was falling apart and hadn’t been cleaned in months. Just when I thought it couldn’t get any worse I left the room to get ice and walked into a filthy room with a busted window unit and trash all over the place! This is an overpriced disgusting joke of a hotel!

"Bad choice for family We can"
TripAdvisor user rating 2 out of 5
Reviewed December 29, 2019
Decided to take the whole family to Branson the weekend after Christmas so I booked 5 rooms on thanksgiving thinking it was plenty of time. Arrived at 4pm on December 26th and room’s not ready so no biggie they gave us arm bands for the water park until rooms ready. At 7:00pm our rooms still not ready and found out from another guest they had bed bugs in their rooms and was unable to change rooms because none were available. We were never able to get into our rooms and had to find a new hotel.

We arrived at Castle Rock around 4 pm or check in time. It is now 8:30 pm and our rooms are still not cleaned. They are working on them at least. The staff who is left are sincerely sorry but the housekeepers walked out???? I reserved four rooms for five nights spending quite a significant amount of money and there aren’t any rooms available in the area! Trying to stay positive but ☹️I sure hope management is going to do something!
