This was our 2nd time on the Waikele outlet buses and not impressed! It seems this time the drivers were family members of the owners....didn’t explain anything on the way there re the destination passports (which passengers are entitled to for extra discounts) to the passengers who had never been before and when dropped off just said pick up here. Then on way back just dropped us off in Waikiki and when asked why not dropping us off where we were picked up from said need to get another shuttle. In the bus the driver said he couldn’t wait to get to the beach and I guess that was more important than dropping us at our destination which is pretty bad service.

Tour was ok our tour guide was good very knowledgeable on the Hawaiian history which was interesting. We booked with Discover Hawaii tours but ended up with Aloha Sunshine Tours I am guessing there is some relationship between them. There was a lot of points on the trip which I thought we were stopping at but just drove by like Haleiwa Town etc. I think the idea was for us to have lunch there but as there was only 3 people on our tour we were running ahead of time so we’re there early but I thought we may have still stopped for a look about the town and shops. We had lunch at Waimea falls as had some time but didn’t realise that we could have had lunch at the north shore food trucks if we knew they were still to come. But drove past. Overall I think the excellent knowledge of the driver with the history of each area was really good.

We booked the Pearl Harbor and City Tour as we wanted to visit Pearl Harbor but our time in Oahu was limited so only wanted to spend a couple of hours there. I have read a lot of complaints about Pearl Harbor tours and I can only say before I go on holiday I do my research! I knew Pearl Harbor was a free attraction and the tour was basically transportation and some background knowledge, also that your tickets are provided. Saying that this tour live up to expectations. Our guide/ driver Kanoi was amazing - funny, friendly and knowledgeable. Our time at Pearl Harbor was great, we saw everything we wanted to see - it's a shame the memorial at the Arizona had collapsed and access was not allowed, however these things happen. Be aware the city tour has no stops. Do your homework and you should avoid disappointment. ,
