The tour includes a gourmet lunch, admission fees, winery tasting fees, and pick-up/drop-off at your Seattle hotel in our luxury Mercedes van.

Our Bainbridge Island history and wine tour starts with a morning pick-up at your hotel in our eight-passenger Mercedes van. We'll board the scenic Bainbridge Island ferry, where we'll enjoy coffee, tea, and pastries while taking in sweeping views of the Seattle skyline and surrounding mountain ranges.

Once on the island, we’ll head to Bloedel Reserve, a nature preserve on the former estate of wealthy Washington lumber family. Enjoy beautifully manicured gardens set among lush forests and visit the French-style mansion. Afterward, we’ll enjoy a delicious upscale picnic lunch or restaurant meal (included in the price of your tour), depending on weather conditions.

We’ll begin the afternoon by visiting the powerful Japanese American Exclusion Memorial, a moving tribute to this important historical event. Throughout the drive around the island, your guide will share meaningful historical, geological, and cultural information about the region.

The rest of the day is all lighthearted and fun as we explore Bainbridge’s growing wine scene. We’ve carefully curated two of our favorite island producers for some enjoyable, educational, and unpretentious tastings.

What a wonderful wine tour in Seattle! Matt Haven did an excellent job from pick up at our hotel in a spotless vehicle to drop off back at our hotel. At all points during the day long tour, we enjoyed his knowledge and a most relaxing day. He went far beyond our expectations. I highly recommend Yonder Sky!

Loved touring around Bainbridge Island with our tour guide Matt! He was quite knowledgeable, entertaining, and provided a quality service! The weather started off rainy (typical Seattle at this time of year, I hear) but turned sunny just in time for our walks around the Island. The tour was timed perfectly (and they knew how to adjust things to best make use of the time/weather). Gorgeous Island, and you can’t beat this experience!

Matt is a wonderfully friendly and thoughtful guide, with a lot of knowledge he easily shared on the tour of the Olympic Mountains we took with my him last week. Everything was well planned and included a delicious picnic love, served with a warm, personal touch, too. Highly recommend to give Yonder Sky a try!
