Not your ordinary Food Tour. The food stops were excellent in addition to the History and Culture shared by Rachel our guide. She really knows her factoids about the city and its history. You will not walk away hungry....

Eight 1972 High School Gals do a long weekend trip every year. This was our 1st trip to Austin. Considering it was much colder than we expected we had a great time, and loved the city. One of our highlights was this food tour. We have been on a # of food tours now and for me, this was the best. Really. Great selection of food. 1st stop barbecue...brisket, ribs, sausage, mac&cheese, creamed corn and beans. Dinner sized portions, took home the leftovers. Also were able to pass the waiting line, straight to table. Next stop tacos, third stop-smoothies and ended with a gourmet donut. Delicious! Also a shout out to our guides, Rachel and Jake, two young adults who seemed to enjoy what they were doing. Had a lot of fun with the two of them. Also incorporated in our tour were a few sightseeing stops, Barton Springs Pool and the Graffiti wall. All of this possible by electric car. Highly recommend!

"Great, personal tour of Austin "

My Dad and I booked a city tour with Ryde, and it was truly the best way to see the entire town. Our guide, Rachael, was personable and knowledgeable, and gave us a truly local perspective of Austin. The electric cart, meanwhile, was easy to get in and out of, and gave a privileged view on a personal scale that the tourists in the big busses were noticeably envious of when we passed. Highly recommended !

I wish there was a 0 star option. We arrived at the meeting place a few hours early and walked around until the tour was supposed to start. 15 minutes prior to the start time, we received a call saying the tour was cancelled. We had planned our entire day around this tour, so it was a HUGE WASTE OF TIME. There should’ve been a backup tour guide. Cancelled 15 MINUTES BEFORE start time!?
