I have visited Myrtle Beach 5 times in the last 10 years and have always gone in April or May for a week of golf. After May it is too hot for golf and getting more crowded as summer approaches. My next visit will be in March to avoid some crowds and still be able to play golf.
Walking on the beach is also better with fewer crowds and I don’t need to lay on the beach to get sunburned.
